REF: Bridging Progress, Addressing the Gap.

The Makatic Community in Rokupr Town, Kambia District, has benefited from a newly constructed bridge and road project under the GPCYE Programme, implemented by NaCSA Sierra Leone in partnership with Kambia District Council and supported by KfW Development Bank. The project reflects a strong commitment to improving infrastructure and community development.
While residents appreciate the durable and well-constructed bridge delivered by Kumbasul Services Limited, concerns have been raised about its size. The bridge has not been widened compared to the old one, despite heavy usage and past difficulties faced by larger vehicles and other road users.

Community members note that unused space during construction could have been utilized to expand the bridge, improving safety and accessibility. They are therefore making a respectful appeal to stakeholders to reconsider and address this limitation.

Overall, the message acknowledges the progress made but emphasizes the need for a more inclusive and practical approach to ensure the infrastructure fully meets current and future needs.

Regards: Alhajie Raheem, concerned resident.

OBITUARY ANNOUNCEMENT. πŸ˜πŸ’”πŸ™πŸ‘‹

With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, the AL-FOFI School Support Foundation for the Less Privileged Kids mourns the passing of Musa Tarawalie (Muzay Tee), one of our dedicated Technical Advisors, who departed this life on 17th April, 2025.

Musa was a passionate, committed, and inspiring young leader whose contributions to the foundation and society will never be forgotten. His dedication to service and support for the less privileged stood as a true reflection of our mission.

Though he is gone, his legacy of impact, kindness, and excellence will continue to live on in the lives he touched.

He's gone, but Legacies Remain. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
