Sierra Leone Alliance Against Hunger and Malnutrition It was established in 2005 and registered as NGO in 2014

The Sierra Leone Alliance Against Hunger and Malnutrition is a registered Civil Society Non- Governmental, non-profit making Advocacy Network in nutrition and health related issues in Sierra Leone. With support from partners, SLAAHM provided the leadership with other partners including SUN Civil Society Platform, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Security, Ministry of Health and Sanitatio

Provision of small ruminants to 50 women in Lugbu Chiefdom with support from the Global Alliance in 2013. This support enhanced the nutrition status and acted as source of income generation for families involved
Build partnership with the Ministries, Departments, agencies, farmer based organizations, Community Based organizations and development partners to initiate and support activities that mitigate the effects Global warming, environmental hazards, natural disasters, including flooding, pests and disease like Ebola, on nutrition and food production activities of farmers..
