🌍✨ Business Management Training Program Officially Launched in Liberia! ✨🌍

Today marks a historic milestone as the Business Management Training Program, supported by Interweave Solutions International USA and conducted by TEARS Mother International, officially began in Kakata, Margibi County, Liberia. This groundbreaking initiative is set to empower communities across eight counties in Liberia, equipping participants with the essential knowledge and tools to build sustainable livelihoods, create jobs, and drive economic growth.

The launch in Kakata brought together a diverse group of participants—women, youth, entrepreneurs, and community leaders—who share one common goal: the desire to improve their lives and communities through practical business knowledge. The energy and excitement in the room were palpable, as facilitators introduced participants to skills in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, business planning, customer service, and innovation.

💡 Objectives of the Program
The training program is designed with clear, practical objectives that will have long-lasting benefits for individuals and communities:
1️⃣ Equip participants with strong business management and entrepreneurship skills to start, manage, and expand their enterprises.
2️⃣ Improve financial literacy, including record-keeping, budgeting, saving, and reinvestment strategies.
3️⃣ Promote self-reliance and innovation by encouraging participants to create opportunities within their communities.
4️⃣ Build leadership capacity by empowering participants to train others and spread the knowledge gained.
5️⃣ Foster community resilience and sustainable growth while reducing poverty and dependency on external aid.

🌱 Expected Impacts
The ripple effects of this program will be transformative across Liberia:

Over 1,000 participants across eight counties will receive training in business management and self-reliance support packages.

Women and youth will be equipped with tools to create and expand small-scale enterprises, strengthening family incomes and community economies.

The training will inspire job creation, entrepreneurship, and innovation, reducing unemployment and dependence on handouts.

A culture of peer-to-peer mentorship will be fostered, with trained participants passing on knowledge and skills to others in their communities.

Stronger, more resilient communities will emerge, rooted in the principles of self-reliance, empowerment, and progress.

"👥 Voices of Hope and Change
During today’s session in Kakata, many participants expressed gratitude and excitement for this unique opportunity. One participant shared: “This training is opening our eyes. We now see that even with small resources, we can start something meaningful, take care of our families, and even help our community.”

The facilitators emphasized that the journey is not just about business, but also about mindset change—moving from dependency to self-reliance. This aligns perfectly with Interweave Solutions International’s global mission of helping people move from poverty to prosperity through self-reliance groups and entrepreneurship training.

🚀 Looking Ahead
The Kakata training is just the beginning. Over the coming weeks, TEARS Mother International will roll out this program to seven more counties, ensuring that the impact reaches both urban and rural communities. With each session, more people will gain the knowledge, confidence, and skills to transform their dreams into reality.

This initiative is not just about business—it is about building stronger families, stronger communities, and a stronger Liberia.

👏👏 A huge thank you to Interweave Solutions International USA for the support, Superintendent, CEO and to all participants who showed up with determination and passion today. Together, we are sowing the seeds of economic empowerment and community transformation across Liberia.
