On the 4th of June 2026, the Chief Executive Officer of Act Fast Foundation for Youth (AFFY), Madam Naomi Parker, alongside the financial Secretary general, Mr. Anthony Sesay, attended the Ecobank Customer Forum Workshop organized by Ecobank.
The workshop focused on key issues affecting the bank’s operations and customer relations. Major areas of discussion included the challenges faced by Ecobank branches, customer experiences in service delivery, and the effectiveness of digital banking platforms. In addition, the forum addressed customer complaints and feedback management systems, emphasizing the importance of responsiveness and continuous service improvement.
The session provided a valuable platform for interaction between the bank and its customers, allowing participants to share their experiences, voice concerns, and propose recommendations. It also highlighted Ecobank’s commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction and strengthening its service delivery through innovation and stakeholder engagement.
Overall, the workshop was insightful and impactful, offering AFFY representatives a deeper understanding of banking operations, customer relations, and digital transformation within the financial sector.

On 25th February 2026, a very important meeting was held in freetown at the office of the national youth commissioner Mr Joseph Maada Lahai, who happens to be the National youth Commissioner in sierra Leone. The meeting was about the upcoming launch of AFFY (Act Fast Foundation for Youths). The purpose of the meeting was to explore potential collaboration, plan the foundation’s launch activities, and align AFFY’s programs with national youth development initiatives.
A presentation followed, highlighting AFFY’s vision, mission ,objectives, planned programs, and the anticipated impact on youth empowerment and community development.
Joseph Maada Lahai expressed strong support for AFFY’s mission and advised that the foundation’s programs should align closely with the initiatives of the National Youth Commission for greater impact.
Key areas of collaboration were identified, including youth mobilization, capacity-building programs, advocacy campaigns, and technical guidance from the National Youth Commission. Responsibilities were agreed upon: AFFY’s initiative and encouraged sustained efforts in youth empowerment, expressing confidence that the launch would significantly impact young people in Sierra Leone.
In conclusion, the meeting was productive and provided a clear path forward on the key issues discussed. The National youth commissioner together with the CEO of AFFY Madam Naomi Parker, expressed their commitment to implementing the agreed-upon actions within the specified timelines. It was agreed that follow-up updates would be shared regularly to ensure accountability and progress. The meeting closed with a word of appreciation from the CEO of AFFY Madam Naomi Parker, for the contributions, insights, and active participation of the office of the National youth commissioner thereby reinforcing the collaborative spirit and shared objectives of the AFFY Launching.

On the 26th of February 2026, A strategic meeting was held with Tony Bob Hindolo Songa, Assistant District Governor for Rotary Club of Bo, Rotary District 9101, to discuss the forthcoming launch of AFFY in Sierra Leone.
The meeting focused on presenting AFFY’s mission, which centers on empowering adolescent girls, women, and youth through education, leadership development, and community-based initiatives. Mr. Songa commended the vision of AFFY and highlighted areas of alignment with Rotary’s core values, particularly in youth empowerment, gender equity, and sustainable community development.
Discussions also explored potential collaboration between AFFY and the Rotary Club of Bo, including technical support, mentorship, advocacy, and joint programs during and after the launch. The meeting concluded with mutual commitment to continued engagement and partnership to ensure a successful launch and long-term impact of AFFY’s work within communities.

On the 7th of January, 2026, Act Fast Foundation for Youths (AFFY) had a very important meeting with the commissioner of lands for land commission and also the Land Rehabilitation manager CTC mining (SL) Limited. The meeting was about the development of the organization and the up coming launching .
The meeting commenced with an overview of the objectives of the Back-to- School project highlighting its focus on supporting vulnerable children and communities through access to educational materials and opportunities. The overview was done by the Chief Executive Director of AFFY, Miss Naomi Parker. The Land Rehabilitation Manager of CTC Mining (SL) Limited emphasized the need to support the rehabilitation of drug victims and youth education in the country.
Discussions also covered the planned opening of an important project with Act Fast Foundation for Youths (AFFY). The Foundation was presented as a platform aimed at empowering youths through education, skills development, and mentorship programs. The initiative seeks to promote self-reliance, leadership, and positive social engagement among young people.
The Commissioner of Lands acknowledged the importance of both initiatives and underscored the role of the Land Commission in supporting development projects that align with national land use policies and community welfare. Matters relating to land availability, compliance with land regulations, and sustainable use of land for youth and educational projects were discussed.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to strengthening partnerships in support of education and youth development. Both parties agreed to maintain communication and explore practical steps toward the successful rollout of the Back-to-School Project and the luncheon.

On the *23rd of February 2026,* a strategic engagement meeting was held between the *leadership of AFFY* and the *senior staff of CTC Mining Company* as part of preparatory activities toward the official launching of AFFY.
The purpose of the meeting was to formally introduce *AFFY* to the senior management team of CTC Mining Company and to present the organization’s vision, mission, and core objectives. AFFY emphasized its commitment to empowering girls, women, and youth in Sierra Leone through advocacy, leadership development, skills training, economic empowerment, and community-based development initiatives.
During the discussions, AFFY outlined plans for its upcoming launch and highlighted the importance of engaging key corporate stakeholders whose operations have direct impact on communities. The organization shared potential areas for collaboration, particularly in programs that promote gender equality, youth empowerment, education, livelihood support, and corporate social responsibility aligned with community development goals.
The senior staff of CTC Mining Company welcomed the engagement and expressed appreciation for AFFY’s developmental focus. They acknowledged the relevance of initiatives targeting girls, women, and youth, noting their importance in fostering inclusive growth and sustainable community development. The senior team also expressed interest in continued dialogue to explore practical ways the company could support AFFY’s launch and future activities.
