Across our workshops, participants explored how AI can support creativity, marketing and digital solutions — while also recognising its limitations.

🇵🇱 Poland: We explored marketing, neuroscience and Customer Journey Maps, then used AI to create and improve marketing campaigns.

🇱🇺 Luxembourg: Through a creative “AI assistant” simulation, we discussed AI’s benefits, limitations and why we should critically evaluate AI-generated answers.

🇧🇬 Bulgaria: Teams tackled sustainability challenges without AI, developing creative solutions they could potentially use in their future work.

🇺🇦 Ukraine: Participants designed mobile app interfaces using AI, inspired by Ukrainian apps such as Ukrzaliznytsia and Kyiv Digital.

🇮🇹 Italy: Teams represented villages and solved technological challenges creatively, without AI, focusing on problem-solving and imagination.

Together, the workshops showed that AI can be a powerful tool — but creativity, critical thinking and human judgement remain essential.

The first session began with an icebreaker game featuring unusual professions, where we chatted in pairs and asked each other questions. Next, we created various amusing sculptures in small groups, chosen at random according to the coordinator’s instructions.
In groups of four, we discussed and completed a Google document on AI tools for various purposes: job hunting, drafting and reviewing CVs, preparing for interviews, and so on.
The second session featured masterclasses led by participants. A participant from Italy presented Canva AI tools and features, followed by a session on completing training documents such as reimbursement forms and attendance sheets. A participant from Bulgaria then led a discussion on creating a participant database.
After lunch, we enjoyed an energiser with a race to keep the energy up for the afternoon.
The third session was dedicated to independent work on the workshops in groups, followed by the fourth session, a workshop from Slovakia featuring the Canva Logo Challenge.

This project was supported by the Erasmus+ programme, project number 2025-3-SK02-KA153-YOU-000384134.

During the morning of the second day, we took part in a duo debate activity where we discussed different challenging topics, including the use of AI in rural communities and more personal topics related to our daily preferences. 🧐 For this activity, we used the Hard Topics app to be divided into dialogue partners.
We also explored and shared different digital tools that can be useful when organizing events as an association or individually, such as Gemini, NotebookLM, and AI assistants that can work with our own resources. Gamma AI and Napkin were especially interesting tools to discover. We put many tools into practice when planning our follow-up activities in national groups.
We also enjoyed a theatre activity based on an interview simulation with an AI, which was very entertaining and made interesting use of acting and humour. We could experience and the roles of an AI interviewer, a human interviewee, and observers and debrief together later.
Our energy through the day was high with great energisers outside and stimulating conversations with other participants.

The first day marked the exciting kick-off of our training course Rural.exe! 🤖 With high energy, curiosity, and a lot of enthusiasm, participants from different countries and rural communities gathered together, ready to start this journey of learning, sharing, and connection.
We started by getting to know each other through a series of icebreakers and introductory games designed to help us learn names, backgrounds, and a bit about the organisations we represent. This set a relaxed and open atmosphere for the days to come.
During the second part of the morning, we moved into a team-building session focused on our sending organisations, where each group had the chance to present their work, mission, and the rural communities they support. This helped us understand the diversity of contexts and challenges each participant brings to the project, and laid the foundation for future collaboration between organisations.
In the afternoon, we explored the topics of Wow-effect, as well as Equality, Cooperation and Fairness (E,C,F), reflecting on how these values can be integrated into our youth work and rural projects. This session encouraged open discussion and helped align our shared understanding of the principles guiding the week.
Later, we prepared for the days ahead by outlining our personal and group learning goals, discussing what we hope to take away from the training and how we intend to stay engaged throughout the programme.
We closed the day with our first reflection groups, a space to share thoughts, first impressions, and initial takeaways in smaller, more intimate settings. The overall energy of the day was warm and welcoming, marked by curiosity, laughter, and the excitement of new connections being formed among participants.

🇬🇷 Digisent Training Course in Greece

At the beginning of June, four participants from Slovakia took part in the Digisent Training Course in Paralio Astros, Greece. 🌊☀️

During the project, we explored how to organise more sustainable events and how digital tools, including AI, can support us in planning, creating and promoting activities for young people. 💻🌱 We also had the chance to try out tools such as Google Workspace and Canva, and discover new ways to incorporate them into our youth work.

But the experience wasn’t only about workshops! In our free time, we enjoyed the nearby beach, explored the surroundings and, most importantly, made plenty of great memories with participants from all across Europe. 🌍💙

A week full of learning, new ideas, international friendships and Greek sunshine! 🇬🇷✨

🌍 Your voice matters. Help shape youth participation across Europe!
TUNE – Transnational United Network in Europe is launching a transnational survey for young people aged 18–30 across our partner countries.
We want to understand how young people experience participation, democracy and inclusion in their everyday lives — and what needs to change to make participation more accessible, safe and meaningful.
🗣️ Why should you take part?
• Share your experiences of getting involved in your community
• Tell us about the barriers that make participation difficult
• Let us know whether you feel heard and represented
• Help identify what could encourage more young people to get involved
• Contribute to a European picture of young people’s needs and priorities
📊 Your responses will help shape future TUNE activities, training programmes, campaigns and youth-led actions across Europe.
⏱️ Time: approximately 10 minutes
👥 Who: young people aged 18–30
🔒 Anonymous: responses are used only for research within the TUNE Network. No personal data will be shared outside the project.

🇷🇴✨ Democracy in Real Life – Youth Exchange

From 19–26 July, our young participants took part in the “Democracy in Real Life” youth exchange in Romania. 🇷🇴

During the project, participants explored how democracy works in their own countries and in five other European countries. Through interactive workshops, discussions, debates and teamwork, they had the opportunity to share their experiences, opinions and ideas about what could work better in their countries. 🌍💬

Together, they created several projects and proposals for change, focusing on what they would like to improve and what could help make democracy work better in their communities. 🗣️🤝

One of the most important goals of the project was to recognize and openly discuss the most common challenges and mistakes in democratic systems and to understand how young people can contribute to positive change.

But the project was not only about democracy and learning. ❤️ Our participants also created new international friendships, shared unforgettable moments and learned from each other’s cultures and perspectives.

During the TUNE International Training, which took place from 30 June to 5 July 2026 in Palić, Serbia, our participant explored how young people can actively contribute to democratic processes and create positive change in their communities. Through interactive workshops, simulations, and teamwork, they developed practical skills in youth participation, civic engagement, and advocacy. 🇪🇺
One of the key learning experiences was understanding how democratic systems function and how to identify decision-makers through Power Mapping. Participants also explored the Civic Participation Ladder, developed advocacy strategies, experienced participatory decision-making, and discovered how digital tools can support civic engagement and community action. 💡
Throughout the training, participants worked in international teams to develop innovative civic initiatives, transforming local challenges into realistic project ideas that can be implemented in their own communities. Collaboration, creativity, and the exchange of diverse perspectives were at the heart of the programme. 🤝
Beyond the educational sessions, participants strengthened international friendships through intercultural activities, including the traditional Mug Exchange and the Farewell Evening, celebrating the diversity and partnerships built throughout the week.
The TUNE International Training provided valuable knowledge, practical tools, and international connections, empowering participants to return home ready to strengthen youth participation and active citizenship in their local communities.

Our participants from Slovakia took part in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Rural Beats: Organizing Youth Events”, held from June 10–18 in Alviano Scalo, Italy.
Together with young people from Italy, Poland, and Greece, they explored what it takes to organize successful youth events and festivals in rural communities.
Throughout the week, participants had the opportunity to look behind the scenes of the UTOPIA Festival, learning directly from experienced organizers who shared their successes, challenges, mistakes, and practical tips.
The highlight of the exchange was organizing a real event – a Hawaiian Night – in international groups. Participants were responsible for everything, from creating promotional materials and invitations to planning the program, decorations, logistics, and coordinating every detail of the event.
They also visited the Alviano Town Hall, met the Mayor, and discovered how important cooperation between organizers, local institutions, and the community is for creating meaningful events in rural areas.
Beyond the workshops, participants spent time with local people and built friendships with peers from different countries, making the exchange an enriching intercultural experience.
This Youth Exchange not only strengthened their practical skills in event planning, teamwork, communication, and digital promotion, but also gave them a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities behind organizing community events. Most importantly, it showed the positive impact of youth participation and how it can make a real difference.
