We had the privilege of hosting a farewell gathering in honour of His Excellency Ahmed Mostafa Abdelaal Mohamed, Ambassador of Egypt to Singapore.

A valued friend of Jamiyah Singapore, his time here has been marked by meaningful partnerships and warm ties that we deeply appreciate. We thank him for his support and friendship, and wish him all the best in his next chapter.

🌙 Session 2 | Majlis Maulidurrasul 1448H

Alhamdulillah, Session 2 unfolded beautifully as we gathered in love and remembrance of Rasulullah ﷺ. We were honoured by the presence of our Guest of Honour, Dr Syed Harun Alhabsyi, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Education & Ministry of National Development. 🤍

The evening was further enriched with soulful nasyid by Mostafa Atef, followed by a meaningful lecture by Ustaz Elyas Ismail, reminding us of the life and example of the one who is truly Beloved by Allah, Inspiration to the Ummah.

The night then culminated in Mega Selawat and Mahal Qiyam with Ahbaabul Mukhtar, Ar-Rayyan, and Ikhwanul Muntaqa, as hearts and voices came together in praise and remembrance.

Here’s a look back at the moments we shared in Session 2. ✨

🌙 Session 1 | Majlis Maulidurrasul 1448H

Alhamdulillah, it was an afternoon that brought hearts together in remembrance. 🤍

The gathering opened with the beautiful recitation of the Qur’an by Junior Qari Champion Maher El-Furqan Bin Mohd Syafiq, setting the tone for an evening of reflection and reminders from Ustazah Datuk Dr Norhafizah Musa and Ustaz Mohamed Suhaimi Fauzi.

As the evening unfolded, voices came together in selawat and praise through the melodic presentations of Mostafa Atef, Soutul Qurra and Jamiyah’s very own In-Saff.

And as we stood together for Maghrib prayers, we were reminded once again of the beauty of gathering as one ummah. United in worship, remembrance and love for Rasulullah ﷺ.

A beautiful evening, held in the hearts of many. ✨

🌙 “There certainly has come to you a messenger from among yourselves…”
Surah At-Tawbah, 9:128–129

These verses remind us of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his deep concern for his Ummah. He was compassionate towards our struggles, concerned for our well-being, and merciful towards the believers.

As we gather for Maulidurrasul 1448H, may we remember not only his birth, but the mercy, character and guidance he brought. Through selawat and remembrance, may we deepen our love for Rasulullah ﷺ and reflect on how we can carry his values into our lives.

Ultimately, his message brings us back to Allah, placing our trust in Him. 🤍🌙 May this Maulidurrasul bring us meaningful lessons and takeaways, deepen our faith, and strengthen our love for Rasulullah ﷺ. 🤍
