‘Go safe online’ serves as a call to action to emphasise that the best protection for internet users against cyber threats is a personal commitment to cybersecurity. Well-informed users would not only keep personal and organisational assets and information secure, but would also help to improve the overall security of cyberspace. To that end, then Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA)
and like-minded partners from the public and private sectors formed the Cyber Security Awareness Alliance in 2008. The Alliance comprises representatives from the government, private enterprises, trade associations and non-profit organisations. With the formation of the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) in 2015 as the national body overseeing cybersecurity strategy, education and outreach and industry development, it also took over the role as Co-Chair of the Alliance from IDA. CSA is part of the Prime Minister’s Office and is managed by the Ministry of Communications and Information. To report a cybersecurity incident, please reach out to Singapore Computer Emergency Response Team (SingCERT) through their hotline (65) 6323 5052. Terms of Use:
