We are pleased to share that Singapore Pools and ENGIE have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore the feasibility of a District Cooling System (DCS) in town. This is part of our ongoing efforts to support more sustainable and energy-efficient operations.
Under the MOU, an exploratory study will assess the potential development of a chilled water plant network serving buildings in the vicinity of the Singapore Pools Building. ENGIE, a global leader in low-carbon energy and services, brings strong expertise to the collaboration, including its experience in building and operating the District Cooling System at the Punggol Digital District.
This collaboration supports wider efforts to advance energy-efficient cooling solutions in the built environment. Through this partnership, we hope to continue progressing in our sustainability journey and building capabilities in green technologies together with industry partners.
