The Tanjong Pagar Plaza Traders' Association has transformed the plaza into a lively celebration space this afternoon, bringing residents, families, and friends together to enjoy the festive spirit of the Dumpling Festival. From fun-filled game booths and refreshments to the ever-popular dragon bouncy castle, there is something for everyone to enjoy! 🐉🎉

The heart of Changi Village was buzzing with excitement as residents, families, and children gathered for an afternoon of fun, laughter, and community bonding ✨🎈

Organised by the Changi Village Merchants' Association, the carnival brought neighbours together through engaging games and activities, creating a lively atmosphere filled with smiles and memorable moments. It was especially heartwarming to see families spending quality time together and enjoying the school holiday festivities in the heart of the community.

This morning, FMAS was honoured to support the launch of the CDC Vouchers Scheme 2026 (June), reaffirming our commitment to supporting both Singaporean households and our heartland merchants.

From 11 June 2026, every Singaporean household can claim $500 in CDC Vouchers, with $250 for participating hawkers and heartland merchants, and $250 for participating supermarkets. The vouchers will be valid until 31 December 2027.

The CDC Vouchers Scheme continues to provide meaningful support for daily expenses while encouraging residents to support local businesses and strengthen community bonds.

FMAS remains proud to stand alongside our merchants and community partners in building a vibrant, resilient, and connected Singapore. 🇸🇬

Warmest feelings of unity and gratitude filled the room at our very first Hawkers’ Division meeting! 💪❤️

On 9 June 2026, the Hawkers’ Division of The Federation of Merchants’ Associations, Singapore (FMAS) held its inaugural meeting and work planning session.

This restructured division represents a huge step forward. In close collaboration with the National Environment Agency, we are dedicated to building a recognized platform that truly engages, supports, and uplifts our local hawkers.

During the session, there was a wonderful energy in the room as everyone came together to discuss meaningful ways to support the community. Our conversations focused on:

✨ Growing our hawkers’ association membership
✨ Adding more value adding services for hawkers’ associations
✨ Organising the Hawkers’ Award 2026
✨ Building partnerships with other trade bodies to bring new opportunities to hawkers

Our members left the session feeling deeply happy, grateful, and empowered. They shared that the session was not just valuable—it gave clear direction and a shared sense of purpose.
