SRI - Shantha Ratii Initiatives Shantha Ratii Initiatives(SRI) aspires to be creative, innovative, dynamic & inclusive in the field of art with special emphasis on Indian classical dance

Shantha Ratii Initiatives (SRI) is a non-profit organisation that believes innovation and inclusiveness is as significant as being creative and dynamic. On one hand preserving tradition and on the other drawing from it, risk is what SRI is willing to take to journey across boundaries to create new narratives without compromising on artistic value and integrity.

Under the MCCY, National Heritage Board (NHB) presents the Singapore Night Festival of which "A Date with Tradition" is a part.

We at Shantha Ratii Initiatives (SRI) after few years of being a part of it, this year present yet another theme - “Bhakti”in Myths and Legends by Srimitha, Deeksha and I.

This approach of designing the performance to connect with a mixed audience by sharing snippets of storytelling and demonstration has been successfully implemented by NHB (MCCY).

Do join us to share in the richness and strength of our cultural diversity.

Another cross-cultural adventure!

This was a commissioned work by the National Arts Council for ISPA (International Society for Performing Arts).

Having a dialogue with Yik Hang of
Ding Yi Music Company (a prodigious Chinese Chamber Music Ensemble) just grew better with each performance.

In a true Singaporean spirit, we improvised, spoke, and laughed together!
