BATU was honoured to host an Appreciation Brunch with Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Brother Lawrence Wong, and our immediate past members of the BATU Council of Advisors.

The gathering brought together both the current and immediate past BATU Council of Advisors and BATU Executive Committee, and was an opportunity for BATU to express our appreciation to PM Wong for his leadership and support as Chairperson of the Council of Advisors.

BATU also warmly welcomed Minister Indranee Rajah as the current Chairperson of the Council of Advisors, together with Minister Faishal Ibrahim, Brother Zainal Sapari and Brother Marshall Lim as members of the Council.

Held just days before May Day, the gathering was a meaningful moment for BATU’s leadership to reaffirm our commitment to championing the welfare and livelihoods of workers in the building, environment and urban trades sectors.
