🚨Flood Relief Appeal & Heartfelt Thank You!🚨

For the past 20 years, Rotary Club of Garden City has partnered with RC Kathmandu Mid-Town on our annual cataract project. Today, our friends in Nepal face an urgent crisis.

Following an initial ground assessment by the Rotarians from RC Kathmandu Mid-Town in Rasuwa District, Bagmati Province, flood victims urgently need:

• Essentials: Food items, drinking water & water disinfectants
• Shelter & Comfort: Tents, tarpaulins, sleeping bags, mattresses & bedsheets
• Basic Needs: Cooking utensils, clothes & sanitary items
• Power: Generators, solar lights, panels & battery chargers

Our Board of Directors has approved full support for this relief effort, and our members and friends have stepped up in a big way.

The Rotary Club of Garden City officially set sail this evening from Marina at Keppel Bay for our very first Yachting Cohesion Fellowship of RY2026–27!

Nothing brings us closer together than smooth waters, sunset views, and great company. It was a fantastic evening of laughter, connection, and setting our course for an inspiring year of service and friendship ahead.

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us on board to make our inaugural fellowship unforgettable! Here’s to making waves in the community together this year. 🚢✨

Empowering Lives, Saving Hearts! ❤️

Members and families of the Rotary Club of Garden City gathered today, Saturday, 22 August 2026, for our very first Vocational Service project of Rotary Year 2026-27!

We had the privilege of participating in the Restart-a-Heart CPR/AED course, organised and conducted by the Singapore Heart Foundation. Through this hands-on session, our Rotarians and loved ones gained essential, life-saving knowledge and emergency response skills.

A huge thank you to the Singapore Heart Foundation for conducting this impactful, complimentary community training. Together, we are taking active steps to build a more heart-safe community!

Service starts with empowering ourselves and our loved ones—here's to a heart-safe and impactful Rotary Year ahead! 🌟

新加坡狮城城扶轮社的社友和家属于2026年8月22日（星期六）齐聚一堂，参与了我们2026-27扶轮年度的首个职业服务项目！

我们荣幸地参加了由新加坡心脏基金会慷慨组织的“重启心脏”心肺复苏/自动体外除颤器（CPR/AED）课程。通过这次实践课程，我们的扶轮社成员和亲友们获得了至关重要的救生知识和紧急应对技能。

衷心感谢新加坡心脏基金会举办这项意义非凡的免费社区培训。我们携手并进，积极构建一个更加心脏安全的社区！

We are thrilled to share some wonderful news from our club dinner meeting last evening!

Please join us in extending a heartfelt welcome to Cheryl Moh 莫楚淇, who was officially inducted as the 6th new member of the Rotary Club of Garden City for Rotary Year 2026–27! 🌟

In addition to Cheryl, we have inducted 5 new members to our Rotary Club of Garden City during our Installation Dinner held on 28 July 2026. Our Club has grown by a total of 6 new members in the first 2 months of this RY2026-27.

It is always an exciting milestone for our club as our family continues to grow. 6 of them bring fresh energy, passion, and a shared dedication to Service Above Self. We are incredibly fortunate to have them join our vibrant community, and we look forward to serving alongside them, creating a positive impact, and building lasting friendships.
