Sometimes, all it takes is a conversation for change to happen.

What started as a sharing session with our Titans grew into a student-led initiative by Zhonghua Secondary, creating conversations on empathy, reintegration, and second chances within their own school community.

In commemoration of Mother's Day, YR Cares collaborated with Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped and invited their Mobile Massage Team to provide a relaxing ​session for the mothers. While the mothers were enjoying their pampering session, the children secretly prepared a handwritten message and decorated cakes as a surprise for them! 🎂

It was really heartwarming to witness the children pen down their thoughts and express the love and affection they have for their mothers. Every word and emotion meant something deeply to them, making it a special moment for everyone. Tight hugs and laughter filled the cafe as the mothers were presented with the cute surprises by their children 💛

Special thanks to our YR Cares volunteers and Spin Up! Volunteers for your support! Your efforts made the day extra special for our beneficiaries and their families. Not forgetting the Mobile Massage Team from SAVH, whose skills and warm hospitality gave the mothers an unforgettable treat for their special day ✨

Coming together as one community, our Titans, alongside students from Project Phoenix (Hwa Chong JC) and Silver Homes (Central Singapore Community Development Council - CDC), spent a meaningful day last month refreshing the homes of seniors living in public rental flats under the Silver Homes Programme.

Through painting and clearing unwanted items, the teams not only improved living spaces — they brought warmth, encouragement, and companionship into each home. For many of the residents, these simple acts became moments of connection and care.

More than just a home improvement effort, the day reflected the power of community. Individuals from different walks of life came together, building intergenerational understanding, strengthening reintegration journeys, and inspiring a shared spirit of giving back.

Today marks a significant milestone. Yellow Ribbon Cares officially commences operations following the merger of Yellow Ribbon Fund (YRF), Industrial & Services Co-operative Society Ltd (ISCOS), and NeuGen Charity.

Bringing together the collective strengths, Yellow Ribbon Cares represents a shared commitment to walk alongside ex-offenders and their families on the journey of reintegration.

As a registered charity with Institution of a Public Character (IPC) status and a member of the CARE Network, Yellow Ribbon Cares continues to strengthen support in rebuilding lives, families and communities.
