Sometimes, we see strengths in our children that they may not see in themselves yet.

This Children’s Day, we’re taking a moment to let children hear what the people who love them see: the strengths that make them who they are.

Because every child has strengths worth noticing. 🤍

Sometimes, the things children say are not really about what happened in that moment.

In Episode 2 of our Unfinished Stories series, we explore how words, expectations and experiences can shape the way children see themselves over time.

As adults in a child’s life, we may respond to the words we hear. But sometimes, there is more beneath them.

What are they really trying to tell us?

What might they be feeling but not yet know how to express?

Pause. Ask a little more. Listen beyond the words.

What if one small reminder could help create more meaningful conversations at home? 💛

Instead of the usual “How was school?”, try asking questions that give children the space to share, reflect and talk about what’s really on their minds.

📌 Print it. Stick it on your fridge. Keep it somewhere you’ll see it.
And each evening, pick one question and take a few minutes to check in with your child.

We asked five children one simple question. "If you could add one new thing to Singapore for children, what would you create?”Their answers gave us five different visions of the Singapore they hope to grow up in.

From greener spaces to safer, happier communities, their ideas remind us that children have perspectives worth listening to.

Because the future belongs to them, too.

Swipe through to see Singapore through their eyes. 🇸🇬

What does strength look like in a child?

As Singapore moves forward as a more inclusive nation, we need to recognise that every child grows differently including neurodivergent children.

Strength can be trying again, asking for help, managing emotions or learning in their own way.

When we recognise their strengths, we give them the confidence to grow.

This National Day, we’re reminded that the Singapore we build today shapes the Singapore our children are growing up in. 🇸🇬❤️

Just like the red string that connects us, we are all part of something bigger. Connected and impacted by the people, values and hopes we share for our future. ❤️

A Singapore where children feel safe to speak, free to be themselves, accepted for their differences, and supported when they make mistakes. A Singapore where every child knows that their voice matters and that they are seen, heard and valued.

Let’s continue building a future where every child can grow with confidence, creativity, kindness and hope. 🌱

Happy National Day, Singapore! 🇸🇬✨

Children may not remember every detail of their childhood, but they'll remember how they felt with you.

The smallest everyday interactions can become the strongest foundations for trust, confidence, and resilience.

💛 Save this for days when you need a gentle reminder.

Every interaction with a child is an opportunity to build trust, not just correct behaviour.

When we choose curiosity over judgment and understanding over assumptions, we create spaces where children feel safe to grow, learn, and become their best selves.

A small shift in how we respond can make a lifelong difference in how a child sees themselves.

💛 Who was that adult for you growing up? Tag them, or share this with someone who is making a difference in a child's life.

What if just 6 days could help you notice more of the good around you?

Join our and take a few moments each day to reflect on what you're thankful for. Small acts of gratitude can create meaningful shifts in how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us.

Here's how it works:
✨ Days 1–6: Share something you're grateful for each day.
🎉 Day 7: Celebrate your week of gratitude and the moments that made it meaningful.

Ready to begin? Share your gratitude journey with us by posting your reflections and tagging . 6 Days you share, Day 7 we celebrate together. 💛
