Actively mentoring women in areas of business and entrepreneurship since its inception in 2009. The sub-unit aims of Singapore Malay Chambers of Commerce (SMCCI) is reaching out to women and empower them to be self-reliant and financially independent for themselves and their family.

Last month, our Dewi Walkabout took us to Johor, strengthening ties formed during Dewi Connect in Singapore with Kelab Ikon Johor members.

A key moment was meeting Dato Azie Sheikh Mohd, President of Kelab Ikon Malaysia, to explore collaborations between Malaysia and Singapore.
We were joined by Saadiah Ibrahim, Vice President of Kelab Ikon Malaysia, and Liyana Omar from Ikon Johor.

Also present were Yusilawaty Yatiman, our Dewi Vice Chairman, and myself as Dewi Chairman.

Our mission is to connect womenpreneurs from Singapore and Malaysia. With Malaysia’s promising market, we aim to foster growth, innovation, and partnerships among women-led businesses, building a stronger regional network.
