United Nations Association of Singapore

United Nations Association of Singapore UNAS was established in 1969 as a Voluntary Organization to support the UN and its development.

The mission of UNAS is to promote peace, respect for international law, social progress and better standards of life and larger freedoms. UNAS activities and programme have focused on issues such humanitarian intervention, protection of the environment, the rights of children, women, older persons and minorities, peace-keeping, conflict resolution eradication of poverty and illiteracy and emerging international issues.
