The Silent Heroes Award Presentation is an annual ceremony organised by the Civilians Association (Singapore). The aim of the award is to recognise ordinary, everyday Singaporeans and permanent residents for their extraordinary humanity and compassion towards people, causes, and missions. The award is open nation-wide and is presented specifically to individuals who are working silently without re

cognition or compensation. These are the faceless champions of our society — ordinary means who have demonstrated extraordinary dedication to improving the lives of their fellow human beings.

"Singapore Silent Heroes isn't just about an award; it's about a community where volunteers support one another's causes and uplift each other's initiatives."

🌟Ganesh Kumar, Singpaore Silent Heroes Alumnus, and he went on to become finalist for the ST Singaporean of The Year 2025. He exemplifies this spirit through his work with the Woodlands Botanical Garden. This community-driven space goes beyond gardening, hosting concerts and exhibitions, and collaborating with diverse groups such as eldercare centers and youth programs to foster connection and compassion.

By participating in the Singapore Silent Heroes network, Ganesh has seen how this community of changemakers continues to grow and inspire new perspectives on giving back.

We had a meaningful time with residents of Jamiyah Home for the Aged at Tampines, distributing Ramadan Porridge last Wednesday!✨

Our Singapore Silent Heroes Alumni Committee shared more than just a meal—we shared a moment of community and care.

Together, we distributed 130 sets of porridge and drinks to the residents. Seeing the smiles and feeling the spirit of giving made the evening truly special. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and supported this initiative!

Selamat Hari Raya!🌙✨
