In loving memory of Shahnaz, our Warrior Princess. 👸

At just 13 years old, Shahnaz spent a decade battling CNS tumours with a courage that humbled all who knew her. Lovingly called their Warrior Princess by her parents, she was never without the love of her family through it all 🌸

Shahnaz passed away peacefully in June 2026, surrounded by those she loved. BTSS had the honour of journeying alongside Shahnaz and her family over the years; through meaningful conversations over house visits, timely welfare grants, home appliance donation during COVID-19, and all the fun we had at past iterations of BTSS’ Brainy Car Rally. 🧡

To every fighter and family on a similar road, you are not alone. BTSS is here. To Shahnaz's family: Thank you for sharing her with the world. She will not be forgotten. 🌟

🧡 The room was full. The questions were real.

On 11 July, we brought back our Menopause & Sexuality panel for a second run at V Hotel Lavender, and it was just as needed as the first. For the second time, we held space for an honest conversation about menopause, intimacy, and what women deserve to know about their own bodies.

Thank you to Dr Ieera Madan, Andrea Tan, and Diana Tan for bringing their knowledge and heart. And to Curie Foundation for co-creating this space with us.

To everyone who came, we hope you left with something useful, and maybe something surprising. 💙

And that's a wrap on our June Holiday Make, Play & Explore Programme! ✨

Our final session, Escape Room & Bridge Building, was the perfect way to close out this series. From cracking clues to engineering bridges under pressure, everyone brought their A-game and made it a truly memorable afternoon! 🧠💪

Looking back at this series, we are just so grateful. For every participant who showed up, every laugh shared, and every creation made. From art therapy to bracelets to origami to bridges... it's been a wonderful run. 🎨📿🦢🏗️🔐

A heartfelt thank you to Hwa Chong Institution and Curie Foundation for supporting the programme and making all of this possible. We couldn't have done it without you! 🤝💛
