CaringWheels is a non-profit organisation that aims to support family caregivers through the provision of respite solutions such as medical chaperon, transportation, care companionship and community support. Although the beneficiaries of CaringWheels are family caregivers, we also aim to offer income opportunities for the career transitioners who wish to have a purpose-driven role supporting caregivers.

To every caregiver caring for a mother, caring as a mother, or missing the mother-child relationship they once knew, thank you for all that you do quietly each day.

For waking before dawn to prepare medications, staying up through the night to keep watch over your loved one, and continuing to show up even on days when you are running on empty.

The love you give may not always be seen, and the emotions that come with caregiving may feel complicated at times, but the way you continue to care is deeply beautiful.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at CaringWheels🌷

Once upon a time I was the one being held, guided, looked after. And now.. I am the one doing all of it for you. “When did our roles reverse?”

You start to notice the change in the little things but you never questioned. And somehow, no one really prepares you for this role of caregiving.

Join us for our upcoming grief talk this May. A session to understand these emotions, hear from others who relate, and sit with what grief really feels like. You don’t need to have the right words to show up.

Not all work happens in offices or factories. Some of it happens at home and in hospital rooms, in quiet moments most people don’t see. As a caregiver, your work is not a 9-5 job. It usually starts in the wake of dawn, to take care of the needs of a loved one who requires daily assistance while also staying alert through the night.

There are no fixed hours or breaks, but the work continues because someone depends on you.

We often recognise work that comes with clocking in and out of a place, but we shouldn’t forget the invisible hours caregivers take on when they return home.

On Labour Day, we want to remember to honour the work and care caregivers do.

April is Stress Awareness Month, and for many caregivers, stress can show up in everyday moments. From the constant checking in, planning ahead of time, or quietly telling yourself, “I just need to get through today.”

When caring for someone else becomes your priority, it can become a struggle to manage and plan for your own wellbeing.

Remember that your wellbeing is just as important. Similar to oxygen masks on airplanes, you have to put your own mask on first before you can safely help others. Preventing caregiver burnout allows you to have more space to stay patient and present for your loved one.

Care for yourself as much as you care for others.

CaringWheels is here for you 💙 Building a strong and supportive caregiver community where family caregivers can find relief, nurture emotional resilience, and strengthen their health literacy.

For Christians, Easter commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. However, beyond religion, Easter is about new beginnings, hope and renewal.

But renewal doesn’t always feel like a fresh start. Sometimes, it’s simply to show up or care again, for yourself or for others.

These moments carry a kind of hope and that often goes unseen. And yet this helps us to be carry on and be resilient.

Happy Easter to caregivers! CaringWheels’ community is walking along side this journey with you as caregiving should not to be done alone 🌿

We are so glad to have had the opportunity to host a booth at Rainbow Centre’s CCF 2026! It was truly a meaningful and heartwarming experience for CaringWheels.

A very special thank you to the founders of Trinity International College (TIC) for your incredible support in helping us set up and man our CaringWheels booth. Your generosity, time, and belief in our mission made all the difference.

Over the course of the event, we had the privilege of meeting many parents and caregivers of children with ASD. Listening to caregiver’s stories and challenges has affirmed that CaringWheels is on the right path to provide respite solutions that truly support caregivers in their journey.

At CaringWheels, we believe that caregiving should not be a journey walked alone. Every connection made, every story shared, and every word of encouragement strengthens our commitment to create a supportive, inclusive community for caregivers.

This is just the beginning.
Together, we will continue to turn compassion into action and keep the wheels of care turning.

Thank you Dr Kelvin Ng from Family Health Chiropractic Clinic for sharing your insights on spine health and posture in caregiving. Your session gave our caregivers a deeper understanding of how everyday movements can impact their long-term well-being.

Dr Kelvin Ng introduced caregivers to the intricate network of nerves in the body and explained how spinal misalignments and subluxations can affect our overall wellbeing. He also highlighted how everyday caregiving activities can unknowingly strain the spine. Through live demonstrations and spine models, caregivers learned how to recognise potential issues and make simple posture adjustments during daily caregiving tasks.

It reminded us that caregiving is not just about caring for others, but also about taking care of ourselves.

At CaringWheels, we remain dedicated to support our community by empowering caregivers with practical knowledge and creating opportunities to learn and share together.
If you missed this talk or want to stay connected, follow us for updates on future events. CaringWheels members also receive newsletters, resources, and early access to programs created just for caregivers 🧡

When you look up, use your whole head, not just your eyes.
Screens are often part of caregiving now. However, every time you tilt your head down, your 5kg head can feel like 25kg to your neck and spine.

Neck pain. Shoulder tension. Headaches. Forward head posture.
That’s text neck or tech neck.

🗒️ How do you help prevent text neck? Follow these 5 steps:
1. Lift, don't drop.
Raise your phone up to eye level. Don't bend your head down to meet it.
2. Tuck your chin back, not down.
Gently pull your chin straight back, as if you are making a soft double chin. You should feel the back of your neck stretch and lengthen.
3. Stack your spine.
Picture a string pulling the top of your head straight up. Your ears should be above your shoulders, and your shoulders above your hips.
4. Open your chest.
Roll your shoulders up, back, and down. Let your chest open wide and your collarbone spread.
5. Breathe.
Take a slow breath in. Let a slow breath out. Feel the tension leave your body.
