DDAS is honoured to support our Corporate Member TrendAI’s AISec @ Govware 2026.

This year’s theme “Beyond the Blueprint: From AI Governance to AIAccountability” explores the evolving state of enterprise AI security, the rise of adversarial AI and the need for AI-specific incident response and the growing challenge of data visibility and governance.

DDAS Chairman, Mr Hon Weng Yip, Member of Parliament, Singapore, Director, Temasek, Chairman, Government Parliamentary Committee for Defence and Foreign Affairs, delivered the keynote address on The Human Accountability Gap, Governance, Workforce, and Who Answers When AIGets It Wrong.

🏆 Singapore Cyber Conquest 2026 Finals & Prize Presentation

Team DDAS was pleased to witness the excitement and achievements at the Singapore Cyber Conquest (SCC) 2026, held as part of the Singapore International Cyber Week (SICW) 2026!

Organised under the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore’s (CSA) SG Cyber Youth initiative together with our Corporate Member - TrendAI, SCC is a national Capture-the-Flag (CTF) competition that empowers the Youths and Community Cybersecurity practitioners to put their knowledge into practice, sharpen their technical capabilities, and challenge themselves in a competitive environment.

💻 With more than 20 teams competing in the finals, participants demonstrated their cybersecurity knowledge, problem-solving abilities, teamwork and determination across the competition. Featuring both Student and Open categories, SCC provides an important platform for aspiring cyber talents and practising professionals to test their skills, gain valuable competition experience, and take the next step in their cybersecurity journey.

At Digital Defence Alliance Singapore (DDAS), we believe that every youth has the potential to become a Digital Defender. Competitions like SCC help nurture the next generation of cyber talents and strengthen Singapore’s digital resilience.

⏳ 2 WEEKS TO GO! March with DDAS at The Purple Parade 2026 🟣

The countdown is on. On 24 October, the Digital Defence Alliance Singapore (DDAS) will be marching at The Purple Parade, Singapore's largest movement to support inclusion and celebrate the abilities of persons with disabilities.

We have 2 weeks left to bring our contingent together, and we'd love for you to be part of it. We'll walk alongside hundreds of organisations from the public, private and people sectors, standing for a Singapore where everyone has equal access to education, employment and opportunity, including in the digital and cybersecurity workforce. 🤝

Beyond the march, there's a carnival, live performances and a marketplace featuring goods made by persons with disabilities, so bring your friends, colleagues and family along. All are welcome to wear purple in a show of support. 💜

DDAS was honoured to be invited for the GovWare / Singapore International Cyber Week Control Risks Breakfast Reception co-hosted with the British High Commission Singapore on 14 October 2026 at Yardbird, MBS where Nikesh Mehta, British High Commissioner to Singapore (UK in Singapore) gave the opening address.

We had the privilege of hearing from Dr Richard Horne, Chief Executive Officer of the UK National Cyber Security Centre, Ms Firuza Karimova, CISO for CIB, Core Technology of Standard Chartered and Mr Selwyn Scharnhorst, Executive Director of ISTARI, moderated by Ms Daisy Radford, Principal, Digital Risks of Control Risks during the UK HM Trade Commissioner’s Horizon Series fireside chat, where they shared insightful perspectives.

✨ Empowering Seniors Through Scam Awareness & Digital Literacy at Buangkok CC ✨

Through the DDASCares Programme, DDAS continues to work alongside community organisations and partners to strengthen digital confidence and cybersecurity awareness across Singapore, in support of the national Digital for Life (DfL) movement.

Our team of dedicated Digital Defenders and youth volunteers had the privilege of engaging seniors at Buangkok Community Club on 11 October 2026, supporting them in building their digital literacy and staying safe in an increasingly connected world. 💙

From learning smartphone essentials to recognising common online scams and practising good cyber hygiene, our seniors embraced each learning opportunity with curiosity and enthusiasm. It was inspiring to see them grow more confident in using digital tools while gaining practical knowledge to navigate the digital landscape safely.

This meaningful outreach contributes to multiple pillars of Total Defence:
🔐 Digital Defence – Building cyber hygiene, scam awareness, and digital confidence
🧠 Psychological Defence – Strengthening resilience against misinformation and online scams
🤝 Social Defence – Fostering digital inclusion, stronger community bonds, and ensuring no one is left behind in our digital future

A special thank you to the Singapore Global Network (SGN) for supporting this workshop and helping us bring digital safety skills closer to our seniors.

Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to our community partners, volunteers, and everyone who contributed their time and effort to make this workshop possible. As part of SJ60 – the 60th Anniversary of Singapore-Japan Diplomatic Relations, DDAS will be bringing 60 students to Japan on an exciting overseas learning journey to explore the country’s advancements in Cybersecurity, AI, Digital Innovation, and Smart Nation technologies 🇸🇬🤝🇯🇵

Through this journey, our youths will have the opportunity to engage with industry leaders, experience innovative technologies firsthand, and gain valuable insights into Japan’s digital landscape. More than just an overseas trip, this is an opportunity for our students to broaden their global perspectives, build meaningful connections, and discover how technology and international collaboration can shape a more digitally resilient future. 🌐🛡

What an incredible night of connection, collaboration, and conversations at the DDAS x SingCham Japan Singapore Night in Japan 🇸🇬🤝🇯🇵

Bringing together Singaporean students and professionals in tech across Singapore and Japan, the evening was filled with meaningful exchanges, new friendships, and exciting discussions on industry trends and opportunities in both cities.

Our appreciation to the amazing teams at Tokyo Innovation Base and SingCham Japan for warmly welcoming DDAS and hosting an insightful panel discussion for our students. 🎤💡 It was a great opportunity for our youths to hear from industry professionals, gain insights into the evolving tech landscape and career opportunities, and broaden their perspectives beyond the classroom.
