Realm of Tranquility Our aim is to promote social responsibility by fostering mutual assistance and spreading the warmth of affection and concern to the community.

Our ultimate aim is to promote social responsibility by fostering mutual assistance and spreading the warmth of affection and concern to the community, especially the less fortunate. The idea was sparked since 1978 when founder Mr Eddie Tay, an entrepreneur who earned the Spirit of Entrepreneur Award in 2004, noticed that the underprivileged were segregated from the rest of society. Bridging the g

ap became a pressing concern for Eddie, and he single-handedly established Realm of Tranquility to serve the community. Even though Eddie has chosen to do charity work without publicising the organisation, his zeal for helping the less privileged has kept Realm of Tranquility’s membership growing over the years. The encouragement of good deeds will continue to be our motto, individually and collectively. Some of the services we provide are:

* Mobile clinics that provide free medical services to the aged and needy
* Caring units that undertake and provide assistance to more than 50 needy families
* Provision distribution to more than thousands of needy and aged monthly
* Professional seminars that highlight various issues (such as legal, matrimonial and social problems) and how to deal with them
* Planning entertainment programmes to bring cheer to residents of old folks’ homes

On July 2026, our training room was filled with laughter as three generations came together, regardless of race, to enjoy an afternoon of traditional games and creative colouring activities in a warm and joyful atmosphere. 🎨🎲

Seniors shared childhood memories through traditional games, while student volunteers patiently accompanied. Participants from different cultural backgrounds interacted, learned from one another, and built meaningful connections. Although we speak different languages and came from diverse cultures, the games became a universal language that brought everyone closer together.

A heartfelt thank you to all participants, volunteers, and student volunteers for making this event so memorable with your enthusiasm, kindness, and smiles. Together, let's continue to promote racial harmony, strengthen intergenerational bonds, and foster an inclusive community where friendship, care, and understanding can flourish. 🌈🤝
