Our kidsREAD participants had a blast celebrating Children’s Day on 3 October!
The day was packed with fun, from inflatable castles and a volunteer-powered octopus carousel to hands-on activities such as making shrink art pendants, designing colourful pinwheels and decorating kraft animals.
The children’s smiles and laughter filled the venue with joy, and the volunteers were just as delighted to be part of the celebration.
Thank you to our volunteers for their unwavering support and to our partners for helping to create a memorable day for the children.

🌱 From Little Seeds, Growth Takes Root.
GEM Day 2026 celebrated our students’ journeys through showcase booths highlighting their learning and growth, performances by students from 12 schools, and “Gardens by the GEM”, where families and guests left words of encouragement.

Supporting 271 participants across 14 partner schools this year, GEM provides regular mentoring and shared experiences that help build confidence and positive relationships.

Like little seeds, students need time, care and encouragement to grow. With people walking alongside them, we hope every young person can discover their strengths and take their next steps with confidence. 🌱💚

🌕✨ More than a Mid-Autumn celebration, it was a chance for seniors to come together and enjoy an evening in good company.

Last Wednesday, 23 September 2026, about 750 seniors from 13 CDAC centres gathered at HomeTeamNS Khatib for a night of familiar songs, lively performances, and festive cheer. From singing along to timeless favourites to enjoying Teochew and Cantonese opera, the evening sparked conversations, rekindled friendships and brought smiles all around.

Supported by volunteers and community partners, the celebration created meaningful opportunities for seniors to connect with one another, stay engaged and enjoy the warmth of a caring community.

❤️ Thank you to everyone who made the evening so memorable.
