Congratulations to Muhamad Mamfizam Bin Ismail, recipient of the Alla’udin–Masjid Khalid Scholarship 2026! 🎓✨

Mamfizam will be pursuing his MPhil in World History at the University of Cambridge, as he continues to deepen his interest in history and the stories that shape our understanding of the world today.

We are proud to support Mamfizam as he takes this next step in his academic journey, and we look forward to seeing where this path takes him.

There is more to Mamfizam’s journey than what you see here and we look forward to sharing more of his story in time.

Some journeys are about finding your place.
Others are about realising you were never meant to shrink yourself to fit into one.

In 2025, Tajiyah Sulwana received the LBKM Prestigious Postgraduate Scholarship to further pursue her MFA in Voice Studies: Teaching and Coaching at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Her story is about voice, identity, representation, and what it means to create space for those who come after you.

He used to be ranked among the last in his class, struggling academically with little support at home beyond a mother who showed her pride in quiet ways. 🍗

One teacher in Primary 6 changed that — and years later, he became the first in his family to earn a degree, before going on to graduate with a Distinction from Cambridge. 🎓

An educator is never just a teacher.

To their students, they can be a mentor, a coach, a listening ear, a source of encouragement, and sometimes, simply the person who believes in them when they need it most.

To all educators, thank you for showing up in more ways than one. Happy Teachers’ Day! 🤍
