Some journeys are shaped quietly, through resilience, sacrifice, and a love for learning.

Growing up amid uncertainty, Ammar found comfort in books. Today, that passion has grown into a collection of over 400 books and a path in Political Science, Malay Studies, and Islamic learning.

Through the support of the LBKM Merit Undergraduate Scholarship, Ammar is able to continue pursuing knowledge and contributing meaningfully to the community.

Grateful for the lunch hosted by NUS Advancement Office and the NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences - , where LBKM got to spend time with recipients of the LBKM Merit Bursary and LBKM Social Sciences Scholarship.

It was a relaxed chance to meet the students in person, hear their stories, and connect. Out of seven students supported through this collaboration so far, we were glad that three could make it for lunch:

Moments like this are made possible through the close working relationship between LBKM and the , where we align efforts and pool resources to support students across different disciplines. This includes initiatives such as the LBKM Future Economy Scholarship with the NUS School of Computing.

lbkm fam came together for a raya bonding session, good food, better company, and meaningful moments. from crafting hari raya cards to some unreleased tiktok content 👀, it was all about connection and community.

we even tried to balance it out with nintendo sports… emphasis on tried 😅
