Team:
We're a group of enthusiastic youth hoping to make a difference to our loc
al community through social entrepreneurship. We started out in Citi-YMCA Youth For Causes 2014, a fundraising competition in Singapore. What was meant to be simple fundraising activities for our charity turned into a platform for establishing corporate partnerships and collaborations with various art groups. Due to our extensive outreach into the corporate sector, out of 100 teams, we clinched the Most Promising Entrepreneur Award. With this recognition and validation, we decided to pivot Project Ubuntu into a social enterprise in 2015. Current Stage:
-One of the finalist for Singapore International Foundation Young Social Entrepreneurs (YSE) programme
- Winner for the Most Socially Responsible Startup Award at Ideasinc Business Challenge 2015
