What does it mean to rediscover life's meaning in this changing world?

At a crossroads, most of us don't need more advice. We want to hear from people who've actually been there and know that there are others going through this journey.

That is why we organise

Join us on ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜†, ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฑ ๐—๐˜‚๐—น๐˜†, ๐Ÿฎโ€“๐Ÿฑ๐—ฝ๐—บ at Brahm Centre for an intimate and honest conversation with three remarkable individuals who have each reimagined who they are โ€” across very different seasons of life.

๐ŸŽ™ Angie Chew
Founder & CEO of Brahm Centre Ltd | The Straits Times Singaporean of the Year 2019
From tech to building one of Singapore's leading mindfulness and mental wellness organisations.

๐ŸŽ™ Sherman Ho
Co-Founder, Happiness Initiative
From the corporate world to spreading happiness as a social entrepreneur โ€” in schools and communities across Singapore.

๐ŸŽ™ Chung
Wellness Consultant
From nurse to sales, counsellor, public health trainer, and now wellness consultant. A life of purposeful reinvention.

Come for the stories. Stay for the conversation. Leave with a renewed sense of what your next chapter could look like.

Last week at PEASE Cafรฉ, we had a conversation around "Life Transition into Social Sector".

We had a very enjoyable discussion with fellow panelists Nigel Goh, Yoek Ling Yong, Ivan Chin, moderated excellently by Weng Mooi Tan and a very warm audience. The audience felt a lot of resonance as the panels shared candidly their life journey, why they decide to move to the next role, and what anchors them. Even though they take very different paths, the themes were similar:

โ€ข ๐—–๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜๐˜† ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ฝ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐˜€๐—ฒ ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐˜๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€. When you know your โ€œwhy,โ€ you can take small but intentional steps toward it, through volunteering, side projects, or simply following what energises you. if you are clear of your compass, you wont lose your bearing.

Titles and achievements donโ€™t define you. The way you show up, the work you do, and the impact you createโ€”thatโ€™s what builds credibility and draws people to you.

Career detours often open up space to realign with what truly matters. And you donโ€™t have to navigate it aloneโ€”get support from your community, your people.

Hereโ€™s to continuing to support one another through transitionsโ€”big and small.

With the Fire Horseโ€™s arrival, may you follow your own rhythm, not the worldโ€™s hurry. Let the year unfold gently. Walk with curiosity in your journey of becoming.

This year, we are focusing on community building and hosting meaningful conversations to ease our transitions. Letโ€™s work together if you have ideas and willing hands you would like to offer to the community ๐Ÿ˜Š

As 2025 drew to a close to welcome 2026, we came together as a communityโ€”sharing a sumptuous spread of food, generous laughter (and a few tears), making new connections, and articulating our shared aspirations for PEASE in 2026.

Our PEASE Co-Creators, Joanne Yap and Victor Koh, inspired us deeply through stories from their travels. They shared what it means to slow down and create meaningful memories with a loved one living with dementiaโ€”being attentive to her needs and wishes, and intentionally designing a DIY itinerary that required going with the flow, embracing uncertainty, and responding to the unexpected. Their reflections offered many powerful learning moments for all of us.

It has been an eventful and heartening year as we witnessed the community rising together. Members stepped forward to facilitate, moderate, speak at events, pilot new initiatives, and initiate gatheringsโ€”each contribution strengthening what PEASE is becoming.

We would like to take this moment to thank every one of you who has supported usโ€”by spreading the word, showing up at our events, connecting us with partners, and generously offering ideas and encouragement. This collective effort has brought us to where we are today.

Letโ€™s continue building this community together and creating more conversations that truly matter in 2026. Happy New Year! ๐Ÿค—

What happens when a group of strangers come together to navigate their life transition?

Last Saturday, we hosted the August run of the
At the start, some participants shared that they werenโ€™t sure what to expectโ€”and even felt a little anxious about how the connections might unfold. Yet, within the safe and supportive space, they opened up, connected deeply, and supported one another.

One participant shared that the workshop gave them the ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ณ๐—ถ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ต ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜ ๐˜„๐—ถ๐˜๐—ต ๐—ผ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€โ€”something that used to feel intimidating. Others chose to let go of fears and patterns such as loneliness, toxic relationships, screen time, impatience, and procrastinationโ€”to make space for better relationships, healthier routines, patience, and meaningful new habits.

Hereโ€™s some reflections from last Saturdayโ€™s participants (shared with their permission):
๐ŸŒฟ โ€œThe workshop has equipped me with new tools to explore new opportunities in this season of life.โ€ โ€“ Shirley Gwee

๐ŸŒฟ โ€œBefore the Navigating Life Transitions workshop, I felt lost and overwhelmed by a major life change. The practical strategies for managing uncertainty and setting achievable goals gave me the clarity and confidence I desperately needed. I now feel equipped to face new challenges with a positive mindset and take proactive steps towards my future. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking for support and actionable guidance during a life transition.โ€ โ€“ See Wan Fong

๐ŸŒฟ โ€œInvesting 6 hours in reflecting and envisioning a better version of ourselves is a worthy undertaking.โ€ โ€“ Soon Joo Gog

A big thank you to Dr Ng Wai Chong and Angela Sujadi for facilitating, and to Tan Weng Mooi and Moana Jagasia for always being there to support!

๐Ÿ’ก Weโ€™re excited to share that ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜… Come join us to find clarity and purposeโ€”while being supported by like-minded peers. (Details in the comments below ๐Ÿ‘‡)

When was the last time you asked yourselfโ€ฆ โ€œWhat does life mean for me?โ€

Not for your kids.
Not for your partner.
Not for your parents, your boss, or society.
For you.

For many in midlife, the kids have grown up.
A partner may no longer be there.
Or you might be single, searching for something moreโ€”something meaningful.

After years of working to provide for others, we reach a quiet realisation:
Iโ€™ve been living for everyone else. But who am I becoming?

Last month at PEASE Cafรฉ, we explored just that:
๐ŸŒน Between who I was and who I am becoming
๐ŸŒน Building meaningful connections beyond work

Over 70 people joined us.
But it wasnโ€™t the numberโ€”it was the warmth, the connection, the relief knowing that transition needs time and space.

As our panelist Dawn Yip said, โ€œTransition work is hard because it is identity work.โ€ It's important to be kind to ourselves during this time.

If youโ€™re looking for a space to think, settle in, and discover your next chapter, join our PEASE Workshop & Circles. More details in the comments section.

And as Benjamin Kheng sang at the NDP:
โ€œIf we just look to each other, then this house will feel like home.
And the more weโ€™re together, the further weโ€™ll go.
You and I, weโ€™re not alone, not alone.โ€

We hope you know you are not alone in this journey.

What's next after 30 years of work? How do we stay connected, purposeful, and fulfilled?

In this panel, weโ€™ll explore what meaningful living can look like in your 50s and beyond โ€” whether itโ€™s staying engaged through work, contributing your expertise through skills-based volunteering, or building new friendships through shared experiences.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Hear from organisations like Workforce SG, TalentTrust, and SilverStreak โ€” each offering pathways for professionals to stay active, connected, and impactful in new seasons of life.

โœจ Come discover how your experience can still make a difference โ€” and how to design a life that feels rich with purpose and connection.
