Ride To Serve

Ride To Serve "Ride To Serve" is a fund raising organisation formed by a group of enthusiastic cyclists. We are secular and help everyone we can.

Donations collected are used to fill up gaps in the lives of disadvantaged people in our community.

In our previous years of rides, we have always visited as many Sikh Gurduwaras (Temples) and have had the blessings of even being rewarded by traditional breakfast prepared by well wishers from the home states in Malaysia.

In 2026 owing to some strategic planning to make the Ride more comprehensive after 2025's 8 days Ipoh to SG adventure, we finally on today, Day 3, have had the chance to visit Batu Pahat Gurduwara.

As always, patrons of the Temple went out of their way to prepare Guru Ka Langgar (Meals from the Guru's Kitchen) for our cyclists and marshals.

We like to really really thank the Sikhs of Batu Pahat and their religious Institution for welcoming us with open arms and feeding us unconditionally.

The spiritual essence for us shall definitely make our final leg home - Monday 30th March (5pm onwards at Central Sikh Temple Boon Keng) much smoother and recharged.

Our donations appeal continue so please do contribute generously via the link:

Thank you and God Bless always.

Day 3

Mersing to Batu Pahat and then tmrw Monday 30 March they shall cycle back home to Singapore.

Yes they may be tired but the levels of determination are unprecedented!

The team knows that behind the energy and endurance lies a Motivation called CHARITY !

We are still raising funds for the disadvantaged in our very own Singapore community. Please help us achieve our Goal which we have not made easy-

To ask is straightforward but to EARN is the reason we have been planning this with volunteers for months and finally we are at Day 3 already.

Part 3 of Day 1 - Friday 20 March 2026

The first leg, Ulu Tiram to Desaru went smooth.

While our expert analysts have reminded everyone that the 1st leg would undoubtedly be the "easiest", we know that the 'warm up' stretch is not always easy," especially when there are three more days to go to cover 400 over KM (total 518km till end point Central Sikh Temple on Monday 30th March).

Riders and Marshals shall now enjoy the "Desaru Honeymoon" spending their first night at Four Points Hotel. In being an initiative formed and propelled to raise funds for charity, we must highlight that:

No money from any donation is, or shall be used, for the purposes of recreation such as hotel lodging or meals etc. Every Cyclist and Marshal in this project have self funded their participation that includes a cover for hotels, insurance, jerseys, their own bicycles and finally a Thank You Dinner upon completion.

We thus appeal to more of you to donate generously to helping the less fortunate in our society. Please do use the link:

Thank you and see you all tmrw as we cycle from Desaru to Mersing.

From Singapore our entire team gathered at Ulu Tiram in Johore where we were also joined by 4 Malaysian cyclists.

The Flag off this morning as depicted in the reel, was done 4 times in sequence with our 4 Groups of cyclists, whom have different cycling pace and abilities.

We have always emphasised that this Ride is never a Race of any sort to the finish but a collective effort to complete 518KM across selected towns in Malaysia and back to Singapore.

The Groupings thus allow everyone to bond within their parity with one dedicated Marshal Car watching over them and assisting closely.

We also have a Safety Car to overlook all aspects of the Ride and a dedicated Ambulance following the entire 4 days.

We share organizational details; actually just small bits out of a large scope of responsibilities and tasks, in hope that all of you reading and watching this post series will realise the amount of effort that R2S has put in so as to raise funds for the less fortunate in our very own Singapore community.

We hope you all donate generously via this link:

As your donations pour in, its not society that shall benefit from it but also our riders and volunteers in Malaysia at this present moment till they return on Monday 30 March, will feel very blessed and motivated.

Thank You.

The Last Ride !

Sorry lets clarify.......

The last training ride - took place on Sunday 15 March before the actual tour from Ulu Tiram (Johore) - Desaru- Mersing - Batu Pahat - Singapore from Friday 27 March to Monday 30 March 2026.

As our team prepares for its official briefing this Sunday, we reach out to everyone of you to help us reach our Goal !

All that we have been training for since months ago and all that's left to prepare for; 2 weeks before kick start on Friday 27th is for one common purpose-

TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE NEEDY IN OUR VERY OWN COMMUNITY (SINGAPORE).

We have included the Scan Code in our photo album above. Please donate so we can make a difference in the lives of the disadvantaged.

We are well aware that the reality may be such that we can never eradicate pain and suffering from the lives of those left behind, but we know we can make significant difference to the lives of some at least, and more, with our support.

Ride to Serve needs your help. Your contributions form essential motivation for our cyclists and marshals who are working very hard to make the 4 days at the end of this month in Malaysia, and back to Singapore possible and well.

🌏 Which stretch of our 518KM ride do you think will be the most challenging?

From Johor to Desaru, Mersing, Batu Pahat, and back to Singapore, every kilometer has its own story, its own challenge, and its own beauty. Our 62 riders are training hard to overcome hills, coastlines, and long stretches, but we want YOU to be part of this journey too!

Comment your guess below 👇. The most “challenging stretch” will be revealed with rider reactions, photos, and behind-the-scenes stories! Let’s make this interactive and fun—your voice is part of the movement.

💛 R2S 2026 isn’t just a ride—it’s a movement of hearts and impact.
