The power to change lives lies in purposeful relationships with people who care, not in programmes. We are here to stay when quitting seems the easier option. We believe there are no bad experiences, only the opportunity to learn together. We are here not to fix people, but to be with people so that they grow bigger than their problems. 💕 At Beautiful People, we believe no mother should have to navigate her journey alone. This Mother’s Day, we invite you to join the community that believes in her.

As we mark 20 years of walking alongside mothers, girls and families, we are looking ahead to the next generation. To ensure we can continue showing up for them, we have set an ambitious goal of raising $222,000 for our Dream Forward Fund.

Every dollar you give goes further than you think. Through Tote Board’s Enhanced Fund-raising Programme, every dollar donated is matched dollar for dollar, doubling the impact of our mentoring initiatives and helping more women find their voice and more girls chase their dreams. ✨

Beautiful People turns 20 this year.

What began as a befriending programme has evolved into a mentoring community where young women and girls are supported, heard, and empowered through every season of life.

For two decades, our mentors have shown up with patience, consistency, and quiet care, creating the safe spaces where girls find the confidence to dream, and discover their strengths to chase those dreams.

As we look ahead, we are launching the Dream Forward Fund to ensure this journey continues for many more years to come.

Your support helps us ensure that every young woman can have a trusted adult, a safe space, and a community that believes in her.

For 20 years, Beautiful People has walked alongside them through mentoring relationships built on trust, care, and consistency. Along the way, we’ve witnessed quiet courage, growing confidence, and the power of being truly seen and heard.

Today, we honour every girl discovering her voice, every mentor who shows up with heart, and every supporter who believes in their journey.

Because when young women are supported, their dreams grow stronger. 💕

In our Beautiful People community, love takes many forms - through our volunteers’ dedication, our mentors’ care, and our mentees’ appreciation.

Two weeks ago, we welcomed 25 prospective volunteers at Mentorship with a Cause, an informative and engaging introduction to the Beautiful People community.

Volunteers gained a clearer understanding of our mentoring programmes and skills-based volunteering opportunities, and many shared how much they appreciated the honest mentor-mentee reflections by Hannah and Kamsirah. Their story brought to life the real impact of mentorship and why it matters.

Thank you to everyone who joined us with such openness and curiosity. We look forward to journeying together and building meaningful mentoring relationships. 💛

📚 At Beautiful People, we believe that education opens pathways to independence, dignity, and hope.
Through our Dream Fund, we support young women and girls who are pursuing education while building independent lives after leaving residential homes.

The Fund operates on a 51:49 co-funding model. While 49% of education and living costs are supported by the Dream Fund, recipients contribute the remaining 51%. This encourages responsibility and resilience.

This International Day of Education, your support helps cover tuition fees, school essentials and independent living costs for the mentees we journey alongside with 🧡
