Seven Clean Seas Putting plastic in its place since 2018! We clean, conserve and educate.

Thailand is becoming an increasingly important part of our global plastic recovery network.

In our latest project update, we take a closer look at what’s been happening on the ground, including 3 new river barriers, bringing our global network to 9, and the transformation of our Thailand Material Recovery Facility from an empty building into a fully operational system.

Recovery doesn’t stop when plastic is collected. The next challenge is making sure that material has a pathway forward, and that’s where circularity comes in.

Behind every number we share is human effort. Real people, real work, and a level of dedication that we admire!

The work is demanding, but essential and it’s carried out with pride, every single day.

This is what impact looks like on the ground.

What if the plastic polluting our waterways could become something functional, useful, and genuinely cool on your desk?

Our recycled ocean plastic coasters give recovered plastic a second life, transforming material collected through Seven Clean Seas projects into something useful for everyday spaces.

Each coaster is made through our own material recovery process, turning discarded plastic into a durable product while helping create demand for circular solutions.

Supporting our mission means supporting two things that are deeply connected: healthier oceans and the people working to protect them. 🌊

Behind every kilogram of plastic recovered is a crew member showing up, working in the heat, navigating polluted waterways, and turning recovery into a livelihood.

When you support us, you’re not only helping remove plastic from the environment. You’re helping create meaningful livelihoods for the people on the ground while giving our oceans a fighting chance.

Support the mission. Support the people. Protect the ocean. 💙

July took us across Bintan, Batam, Bali and Bangkok, with 129 crew members showing up day after day to keep plastic moving out of the environment and into recovery.

The infrastructure matters too:
🛶 9 river barriers intercepting plastic before it travels further downstream
🦛 HIPPO capturing floating waste from Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River
🦦 OTTER supporting offshore recovery in Bali, tackling plastic that has already moved beyond the shoreline

Different locations. Different communities. One continuous mission: keeping plastic out of our oceans.

None of it happens without the people on the ground making it happen.

Here’s to another month of showing up. 💙

Thailand is becoming an important part of our journey towards cleaner oceans. 🇹🇭🌊

Across the country, our teams are working to stop plastic before it reaches the sea through three river barriers, the HIPPO floating waste interceptor, and regular mangrove cleanups that help protect vital coastal ecosystems.

Every piece of plastic recovered is more than cleaner waterways. It's healthier habitats for wildlife, stronger communities, and a reminder that long-term change is possible when people come together.

None of this happens alone. It's made possible by our incredible crews, local communities, partners, and supporters who believe our oceans are worth protecting.

Let's keep growing Thailand's impact. 💙

Beach cleanups are about much more than collecting litter. They're a chance to bring people together, spark conversations, and build a community that cares about our oceans. Every cleanup is an opportunity to connect with others who believe that lasting change starts when people show up.

This August, we'd love to welcome you to be part of that community.

We're proud to co-host this event with Yayasan Sahabat Multi Bintang, Noema Resort Pererenan, and Mereren Fest, whose support helps turn a simple morning on the beach into a shared commitment to protecting our coastlines.

The difference between "before" and "after" is never instant.

It's built through hours of dedication from our recovery crews, who work tirelessly to remove plastic before it can travel further downstream, threaten marine wildlife, or fragment into microplastics that are far harder to recover.

A clean shoreline is more than a satisfying transformation. It's the result of consistent action, local expertise, and people who show up every single day.

The best part? Every "after" creates the opportunity for another.

Help us make more of them. 🌊

POV: You're out color hunting... but instead of vibrant fish and coral reefs, your camera keeps finding plastic.

That's exactly why we do what we do.

Every bag of waste we recover is one less distraction from the beauty our oceans are meant to hold.

Let's make "color hunting" about schools of fish, healthy reefs, and crystal-clear waters, not discarded plastic.

Help us bring the color back to our oceans. 🌊💙
