Today, we are delighted to spotlight:

🌟 RAELYN SAW 🌟

Raelyn began her piano journey at the age of four after eagerly asking her parents for lessons, and started her studies under Ms Winnie Tay. She quickly developed a deep love for the piano and has since grown through various performance opportunities.

She has participated in piano competitions, achieving a Gold award and a 4th place finish. At the Overseas Performers’ Festival 2025, she was awarded a Platinum Award in her category and received the Jury’s Choice Award, recognising her musical ability and expressive performance.

Beyond competitions, Raelyn has also shared her music by performing at homes for underprivileged children in Singapore, hoping to spread joy and positivity through music. In addition to piano, she enjoys reading and dancing ballet.

Today, we are delighted to spotlight:

🌟 TAN MAYLYN 🌟

Tan Maylyn, a dedicated 10-year-old student from Ngee Ann Primary School, Singapore, began learning the piano at the age of seven. Over the past three years, under the guidance of Ms Angelyn Aw, she has developed a strong passion for music, showing steady growth in both her skills and musical expression through consistent practice and enthusiasm.

In 2025, Maylyn achieved a proud milestone by receiving the Star Award at the 9th Overseas Performers’ Festival, recognising her dedication and performance ability. Beyond music, she enjoys reading, dancing, and practising gymnastics, reflecting her energetic and curious personality.

With her love for learning and commitment to her craft, Maylyn continues to pursue her musical journey while balancing her studies and interests. She looks forward to more opportunities to grow, perform, and share her music with others.

🌟 NFT (No Front Teeth) 🌟
Star Award Recipients:
(Newman Tong • Jasmine Zhu • Winston Ong)

NFT, which stands for “No Front Teeth,” is a trio whose name was inspired by a childhood moment when all three members were missing their front teeth.
Bonded by music since the age of six, Newman, Jasmine, and Winston grew up learning piano, performing, and travelling together. Their journey is a strong testament to how music brings people together, building both artistic growth and lasting friendships.

Beyond performing for their own enjoyment, the trio has taken the stage at major events, including the ChildAid charity concert, sharing their passion with wider audiences. Now in secondary school, they continue to nurture their musical bond—one that is set to last for many years to come.

Today, we are delighted to spotlight:

🌟 PENG ZILIN 🌟

ZiLin is a young piano student based in Singapore who began her musical journey in early 2023 under the guidance of Ms Ou Rui. Since then, she has developed a strong passion for music and performance.

She has participated in the Overseas Performers’ Festival three times, gaining valuable stage experience and expanding her musical exposure. This year, she is honoured to be selected for the Gala Concert in Kunming.

Currently a primary school student, ZiLin balances her academic studies with her love for piano. Through consistent practice and dedication, she continues to build her skills and confidence, and looks forward to sharing her music with a wider audience.

Today, we are delighted to spotlight:

🌟 LINCOLN TAN TIAN JUN 🌟

Lincoln began his piano journey at the age of seven under the guidance of his aunt, Teacher Pan Hui Jie—a meaningful start that shaped his musical path. The following year, he participated in his first piano trio at the 4th Overseas Performers Festival, where being selected for the gala concert gave him a tremendous boost in confidence.

Inspired by fellow young performers, Lincoln has continued to grow with dedication and enthusiasm, returning to the stage year after year. Now 14, he is deeply grateful for the support of The Musique Loft, which has provided valuable performance opportunities at venues such as CHIJMES, the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, Sala Sudasiri Sobha in Bangkok, and Prugio Art Hall in Seoul.

He also expresses heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Pan Hui Jie for her encouragement and guidance throughout his journey, and fondly remembers early masterclasses with Mr San Jittakarn and Ms Hanna Choi. Lincoln looks forward to further musical growth and new experiences in Yunnan

Today, we are delighted to spotlight:

🌟 BRANSEN LEE 🌟

Bransen, aged 5, is a young and passionate pianist who enjoys expressing himself through music. Within just six months of beginning his musical journey, he was awarded Gold at the Taiwan International Music Competition, inspiring him to continue exploring music.

In 2025, he continued to achieve remarkable milestones, receiving Gold at the Hong Kong International Music Festival, 3rd place at the 7th Steinway Youth Piano Competition, and 2nd place in Steinway IG Stars 2025, reflecting his steady progress and growing confidence.

Under the guidance of Ms Winnie Tay, Bransen has further developed his musical understanding and technique. His growth was clearly demonstrated at the Overseas Performers’ Festival 2025, where he was honoured as Most Outstanding Performer in his category, receiving two Jury’s Choice Awards and a Platinum Award.

Bransen continues to explore music with curiosity and joy, cherishing every opportunity to grow and express himself.

🌟 REIA QUEK RUI ER 🌟

Reia is a young pianist who began learning the piano at an early age and enjoys exploring a wide range of musical styles. She is especially drawn to the expressive beauty and storytelling found in classical repertoire, and delights in discovering how music from different periods creates unique moods and colours.

Beyond music, Reia enjoys travelling with her family, exploring new places, cultures, and cuisines. She believes that travel, like music, offers meaningful ways to experience different perspectives and stories.

She is also dedicated to Taekwondo and has trained for several years, achieving a junior black belt. Through both music and sports, she continues to develop discipline, creativity, and confidence. Reia looks forward to growing further as a musician and is delighted to share her love of music on stage.

With an interest in both classical repertoire and jazz, he explores a wide spectrum of musical expression and creativity. Each practice session marks growth in both technique and musicality, as the piano continues to become an essential part of his identity and self-expression.

He enjoys exploring a wide range of repertoire, from classical works to contemporary styles, including anime and pop music. Each piece offers him the opportunity to refine his interpretation and connect emotionally with his audience.

Beyond music, Elijah is also interested in visual art and football, pursuits that reflect his creativity, energy, and well-rounded character. With every performance, he continues to grow as both a musician and artist, embracing each concert as a meaningful milestone in his journey.
