Gamelan Asmaradana Ltd. Gamelan Asmaradana Ltd is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to promoting the appreciation and awareness of all styles and expressions of gamelan.

Incorporated in 2004, GA is made up of musicians from all walks of life, mid-teens to silver-age; some trained in various genres of music, and some are graduates from international universities with extensive training in gamelan, world music and ethnomusicology. Through dedication and hardwork, our musicians have formulated 4 key ensembles under one roof that formulates our core business:
- Javane

se Gamelan a.k.a. Gamelan Asmaradana
- Balinese Gamelan a.k.a. Gamelan SingaMurti
- Sundanese Gamelan a.k.a. Degung Singalagena
- World Fusion Gamelan a.k.a. Dwi Warna

It's an on-going learning journey with & within Gamelan Amsaradana Ltd. Through regular performances, recitals, workshops and community outreach initiatives, Gamelan Asmaradana endeavour to make gamelan music more accessible, adaptable and available, and share the love of gamelan music to all in Singapore and beyond.

Tuning gamelan instruments involves filing or grinding bronze metallophone keys and sometimes hammering pot or gong instruments. We were blessed to have worked with artisans from Solo and Bali who were here to tune and maintenance a number of Javanese and Balinese gamelan sets belonging to a few schools/institutions.
