🏃‍♂️⚽ VIVA LALALA – Caregiver's Night: Sports Day Edition!

VIVA Hub turned into our very own mini stadium on 31 July! Our young champions teamed up for friendly matches, relay games and plenty of laughter — proving once again that all you need is heart (and maybe a bit of teamwork) to have a great time.

And of course, caregivers had their moment too 💛 From kicking back with a song on the mic to swapping stories with friends who understand the journey, it was an evening of well-deserved downtime and connection.

Thank you to everyone who came down to play, cheer and sing along — you made VIVA Hub feel like home. 🥅✨

He was admitted to New York's Juilliard School on a full scholarship, and his artistry has taken him from Tokyo's Suntory Hall to Beijing's National Centre for the Performing Arts — even performing for the presidents of China, Russia, India, Brazil, and South Africa at a BRICS summit gala. ✨

Now, this world-class talent takes the stage with the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra under the baton of conductor Chan Tze Law for VIVA Concerti: Where the Twain Shall Meet — eight concertos in one unforgettable night. 🎹🎻

What does caring for a child with cancer look like on the other side of the world? 🌍

On Tuesday, VIVA welcomed students from Indiana University Bloomington as part of their study abroad programme — and the conversations that followed were anything but ordinary.

Dr Steven Tucker shared his remarkable journey across healthcare systems, from practising as an oncologist in Los Angeles to becoming a GP here in Singapore. His reflections on the contrasts, challenges, and lessons between the two sparked a thought-provoking discussion on what quality care truly looks like — and who it reaches.

The group also got an up-close look at VIVA's work supporting children with cancer and their families — a reminder that behind every statistic is a child, and a community rallying around them. 💙

Through Team Courage – Planting for Kids, our young participants discovered the joy of nurturing life, learning that growth takes patience, care, and perseverance. From planting seeds to caring for their little greens, each activity encouraged curiosity, responsibility, and a deeper appreciation for nature.

More than just gardening, the programme provided opportunities for children to connect with the environment, build confidence through hands-on learning, and experience the rewards of watching something they planted flourish.
