Introducing our judges - #4 Amanda Cheng (Sun 8 Nov : AB, OCP - PR)

Starting with showing and breeding Ragdolls in CFA - The Cat Fanciers' Association, Inc in 2003, Amanda gradually added British Shorthairs to her “Enko” cattery. She has gained show management experience organising multiple CFA cat shows in China.

Eventually - Maine C***s, Persians, and Exotics were added to her breeding repertoire and she went on to show her cats across Southeast Asia, the United States, as well as in Europe. Fast forward to 2014, Amanda applied to become a CFA judge, a role she has held ever since.

Amanda last came to Singapore while training for the CFA judging program in 2016 and we’re now thrilled to welcome her back as an Allbreed Judge this year!

Introducing our Judges - #2 Jacqui Bennett
(Sat, 7 Nov, SSP)

A CFA All breed judge for the past 15 years, Jacqui has been involved with CFA as a hobby for 30 years, breeding and showing her beloved Ocicats. She had the honor of serving as the Ocicat Breed Council Secretary for six years while she was an active breeder.

During her time breeding and exhibiting, she accomplished several firsts in CFA history; including the first F1 Ocicat Distinguished Merit female, the first Tawny Ocicat to earn the title of global Breed Winner, and the first to breed a National Winning Cinnamon Ocicat.

The Chair of the Breed Preservation Committee for CFA, Jacqui helps create educational and informational material for the public - for exhibitors, for breeders and for education, as well as for educational organizations such as veterinary schools.

Currently sitting on the CFA Board of Directors as a Director at Large, she is focusing her efforts in helping drive the direction of CFA into the future.

It's Jacqui's first time judging in Singapore and we're super excited to have her! Whether you are a spectator or an exhibitor, get ready to soak in the wealth of knowledge that Jacqui brings with her.

There is always room for dessert.

Just one of the very many nuggets of wisdom we took away from Pam DelaBar during her visits to Singapore.

Pam was President of CFA - The Cat Fanciers' Association, Inc AND the World Cat Congress during an exciting time for the cat fancy in the International Division.

She first judged for us in 2007 and encouraged our young fanciers participating in Junior Showmanship. Yes, the CFA President does see value in this program and is excited to put you on the road to showing your first pet!

A decade later in 2017, Pam judged her last show (and of course, Youth program ring) for us. We regret we were unable to find another time in recent years for all our new fanciers to meet and learn from one of the icons of the cat fancy.

We value and remember the times Pam has spoken up in favour of the International Division clubs. That she stood up for her beliefs and those she believed in. Forever in our hearts, rest in peace Pam ♥️
