Launched by FutuReady Asia's Character & Leadership Academy (CLA), Global Youth Leaders' Summit (GYLS) is a annual summit run for youth, by youth. The Summit seeks to address pressing issues that youth face in today's world, and aims to be a catalyst for youth to gain the confidence and be equipped with skills to help them tackle these societal difficulties. GYLS aims to empower youth to realise t
hat regardless of age, nationality, religion or race, empower youth and make a change in society, in the hopes for a better tomorrow. GYLS is held every July, as it marks an important occasion for youth - It is Youth Month, a season to celebrate youth and to provide opportunities for youth to discover themselves by learning, leading and serving. With the support from the High Commission of the Republic of South Africa, has launched the Nelson Mandela Leadership Series – a platform to develop positive and desirable character traits, instil leadership skills and knowledge in the youths of today, as well as develop cultural and youth diplomacy.
