NYGH-PSG NANYANG GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL PARENT SUPPORT GROUP

As parents, we have a stake in our daughters’ development into well-rounded and responsible youths. The NYGH Parent Support Group believes that by working closely with our daughters’ educators, we can help them to stretch their talent and realise their full potential. Our mission is to:

• promote a positive partnership among parents, the school and the Alumni through interaction and organisation of activities that are mutually beneficial;

• provide opportunities for parents to volunteer, share or contribute their knowledge and time to the school for the benefit of our girls; and

• provide opportunities for parents to network and support each other. Your contribution, be it your time, skills, contacts and/or financial support, will enable you to establish closer ties with the school and gain a better insight into your daughters’ development.

PSG has recently brought together a group of enthusiastic Sec 1 parents, united by a shared goal and a whole lot of team spirit!

For three Saturdays, our parent netball team will be training hard, putting in the effort, building up our skills and stamina, and strengthening our teamwork — all for one exciting goal: to take on our girls during the netball match at the upcoming Sec 1 EOY ICG 2026!

While the girls have been hitting the books, our parents have been hitting the court!

Who will take home the bragging rights — Parents or Girls? Stay tuned for the showdown! 😉

Behind every event, there’s plenty of teamwork, laughter and moments shared along the way. As we approach the end of 2026, PSG Exco team took a little break over a fun-filled Kokedama workshop in September followed by a wonderful dinner bonding last night! Thank you Zann and Shawn for everything ❤️.

Whether getting our hands dirty with greenery or simply enjoying good food and great company, both are wonderful reminders that it’s the people and connections that make this journey so special.

We’re grateful for this amazing team — for showing up, supporting one another and making every moment count.

PSG — we work hard, we play hard, and we always grow together!

每一场活动的背后，都少不了团队的默契、欢笑，以及一路上共同创造的点点滴滴。

2026年即将步入尾声，PSG Exco 团队也给自己一个小小的喘息时光——9月一起参加充满乐趣的 Kokedama 工作坊，昨晚再以一顿温馨的晚餐继续我们的团队聚会！特别感谢 Zann 和 Shawn 为我们安排这一切。

无论是一起动手与绿意相伴，还是围坐在一起享受美食、分享欢笑，这些时刻都提醒着我们：让这段旅程变得特别的，不只是我们一起完成的活动，更是一路同行的伙伴与彼此之间的连接。

Examinations are just around the corner, and many of our girls have been working hard, staying back after school for T4 Supervised Structured Study (SSS) as they prepare for the upcoming exams.

Over the past two weeks, PSG was happy to support our girls by preparing and distributing snack packs during SSS — a little treat and a small reminder that their hard work is seen and supported.

Keep going, girls! We’re cheering you on every step of the way. All the best for your exams — believe in yourselves and do your best!

考试季即将来临，许多女孩都在努力备考，也留校参加 T4 Supervised Structured Study (SSS)，为即将到来的考试做好准备。

过去两个星期，PSG 特别准备了小点心，在 SSS 期间送给留校温习的女孩们。小小的心意，希望为她们补充一点能量，也让她们知道——每一份努力，我们都看在眼里，也一直为你们加油！

NYGH Mid-Autumn Festival 2026.
From lantern riddles and beautiful Chinese orchestra performances to pomelo peeling and tasting, NYGH Mid-Autumn Festival was filled with fun, laughter and lots of mooncake magic!

The excitement at PSG Snowskin Mooncake making Station was real! Our handmade colourful snowskin and ingredients were clearly a hit — girls were eagerly queuing and hoping to get their hands on them, ready to knead, shape and create their very own snowskin mooncakes.

It was heartwarming to see their curiosity turn into hands-on learning, with plenty of “Can I try?” and “I want to make one too!” and “Can I make one more?” moments along the way.

More than just making mooncakes, it was about sharing traditions, creating together and making sweet memories this Mid-Autumn with plenty of festive cheer!

从猜灯谜、优美动听的华乐演奏，到剥柚子、品尝柚子，NYGH 中秋庆典充满了欢笑、惊喜，还有满满的月饼魔法！

PSG 冰皮月饼制作站更是热闹非凡！五彩缤纷的手工冰皮和丰富食材显然大受女孩们欢迎——大家兴奋地排着队，迫不及待地亲手揉一揉、捏一捏，制作属于自己的冰皮月饼。

看着女孩们从好奇到亲手尝试，一句句“我可以试试吗？”、“我也想做一个！”、“我可以再做一个吗？”此起彼落，实在让人感到满满的温暖与喜悦。

这不仅是一场月饼制作，更是一次传统文化的传承、一起动手创造的美好时光，以及这个中秋最甜蜜、最难忘的回忆！

Hwa Chong Mid-Autumn Festival 2026.

A heartfelt thank you to HCI (College) PSG for inviting us to Hwa Chong’s biggest Mid-Autumn Festival celebration!

What an amazing evening under the open skies — from Chinese orchestra, Choir, String ensemble to graceful Chinese dance and the spectacular Wushu, truly a feast for the senses!

Beyond the performances, we cherished the simple moments of connection — sharing mooncakes, pomelo, tea and malt candy while celebrating together.

These shared experiences remind us of the value of PSG connection and collaboration. By learning and sharing with one another, we grow stronger together.

Thank you for the warm hospitality and friendship. Here’s to more meaningful connections and shared memories ahead!

在星空下，我们度过了一个精彩的夜晚——从华乐团、合唱团、弦乐团，到优雅的华族舞蹈与精彩的武术表演，精彩纷呈，令人陶醉！

NYGH PSG X OUTDOOR CLUB ORIENTEERING RACE

It was a joy for PSG to collaborate with the school’s Outdoor Club CCA for a fun and friendly Orienteering Race!

Beyond the maps, clues and race to the checkpoints, it was heartwarming to see parents and girls communicating, strategising, encouraging one another—and sharing plenty of laughter along the way. ❤️

As a team, we’re grateful for this meaningful collaboration and the opportunity to create moments where families can bond, have fun and make memories together. Here’s to more HLE adventures together!

这次 PSG 很开心能与学校 Outdoor Club CCA 携手合作，举办了一场充满趣味与欢乐的定向越野赛！

穿梭在地图、线索和各个检查站之间，最让我们感到温暖的，是看到家长和孩子们一起沟通、策划路线、互相鼓励，在欢笑声中完成挑战。

作为筹办团队，我们很珍惜这次有意义的合作，也很开心能为亲子创造一个一起参与、一起挑战、一起留下美好回忆的机会。

🎡💙 CARNIVAL VIBRANTE 2026 - IT TRULY TAKES A VILLAGE.

The PSG dreamt big with 5 stalls, but none of it would have been possible without our incredible NYGH family! Nearly 90 parent volunteers, together with our teachers, school leaders and even students, came together to make it happen. ❤️

What touched us most were the many acts of generosity that happened quietly behind the scenes. Countless hours spent crocheting pieces for us to sell, parents giving their time, resources and energy, students turning up to help their Papa and Mama with set-up, and a school community always ready to step in and support one another.

One little moment summed it all up. A boy came up to thank our PVs and told them:

“This is the best carnival I’ve ever attended.” 🥹

As one of our PV dads said, that moment made all the hard work, tiredness and effort completely worthwhile.

And truly that is what makes NYGH so special.

School. Students. Parents. One Nanyang family. 💙

To everyone who came down, supported our stalls, played our games, bought something, cheered us on or simply shared in the joy of the day - thank you. You were part of what made Carnival Vibrante so special. 🙏🏼

🎡💙 CARNIVAL VIBRANTE 2026 - 一场属于南中大家庭的盛会，少不了每一个你！

PSG 这次大胆追梦，一口气设了 5个摊位！但如果没有我们强大的南中大家庭，这一切绝不可能实现。近 90位家长义工，加上老师、学校领导，甚至学生们都一起加入、齐心协力，才成就了这一切。❤️

最让我们感动的，是许多在幕后默默付出的心意。有人花了无数个小时，一针一线钩织出精美的作品让我们义卖；家长们毫不吝啬地付出时间、资源与精力；学生们也主动前来帮爸爸妈妈布置摊位；而整个南中大家庭，总是在需要的时候彼此扶持、互相补位。
