That was the cause that brought some 100 of us together on Friday (29 July) for the inaugural Rare Disease Fund (RDF) Donor Appreciation Event, which was graced by Minister Ong Ye Kung.
We are grateful to donors for your unstinting support towards the RDF โ both in contributing financially as well as rallying others to make a gift.
This nationwide fund seeks to provide the necessary long-term financial support for patients with rare diseases, specifically to defray the cost of medications. Every dollar contributed to the fund is matched with $3 by the Government.
