HAPPY from us at Kindred to YOU! 🌊✨
Thank you to everyone who joined us at East Coast Park Area H bright and earlier this morning. Together, we combed the shores and fields, clearing over 869.4kg of trash! 🧹💪
With the morning heat rising and the PSI creeping into the unhealthy range again, it was a timely reminder: while we can't control the elements, we can control our impact.

Every single piece of trash removed matters. Wherever you are, take a few minutes, head outside, and pick up a piece or two of litter. Small actions scale fast when we do them together. 🌏✨

A massive shoutout to our incredible public volunteers, as well as the amazing teams from Emirates Retail and Polytechnic for showing up and putting in the work today! 👏

And extra love to all our friends for collaborating with us throughout the year to keep Singapore clean and green across the island. 🇸🇬❤️

A meaningful afternoon at Raintree Cove, East Coast Park! 💛🩷💙

Families and different generations came together to spend time outdoors, connect with one another and take action for a cleaner environment.

From young children to grandparents, everyone played a part. Picking up litter, caring for our shared spaces and learning that even small actions can make a difference.

We believe that cleanups are not just about the rubbish we collect, but also about the ownership and mindset we build together.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, especially the families who brought their little ones and the grandparents who came along. Your presence made the afternoon extra meaningful. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💛🩷💙

Thank you for being part of Kindred Community’s World Cleanup Day 2026 Month-Long Campaign.

One cleanup at a time, one community at a time.

WORLD CLEANUP DAY 2026 | FOOD RESCUE

What if cleaning up our planet could start with the food we eat?

Last Saturday, we did something a little different — instead of picking up litter, we rolled up our sleeves to rescue food that might otherwise go to waste. 🌱

Together with the Fridge Restock Community, our volunteers headed to Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre to sort and rescue surplus fruits and vegetables that were still perfectly good to eat.

It was a hands-on reminder that sustainability is not only about what we throw away — it is also about what we choose to save.

🍊 Food that is still good deserves a second chance.
🥬 Produce that cannot be sold can still nourish a community.
🤝 And every pair of hands can make a difference.

Thank you to everyone who came down, got their hands dirty, and helped give good food a second chance. 💙💛🩷

One rescue. One less waste. One more step towards a cleaner, kinder Singapore.

WORLD CLEANUP DAY 2026 | FAMILY & INTERGENERATIONAL CLEANUP 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

What if a simple cleanup could become a meaningful family afternoon?

As part of Kindred Community’s World Cleanup Day 2026 month-long campaign, we are bringing families and different generations together at Raintree Cove, East Coast Park!

Come along with your children, parents, grandparents, friends or colleagues — and spend an afternoon outdoors while doing something positive for the community. 🌿

🧤 What we will do:
We will work together in small groups to pick up litter around the park and coastal area, followed by a group photo and wrap-up.

No previous cleanup experience is needed. Just bring comfortable shoes, a water bottle and your willingness to get involved! 😊
👦🏻👧🏻 Bring the little ones.
👵🏻👴🏼👴🏻 Invite the grandparents.
👫 Bring a friend.
🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Come as a family.

Let's show the next generation that caring for our environment can start with something as simple as picking up a piece of litter together.

🌏 One community. One month. One cleaner Singapore.

FOOD RESCUE. LESS WASTE. MORE IMPACT. 🌱

This World Cleanup Day, we're looking beyond litter.

Food waste happens at many stages — including perfectly edible fruits and vegetables that are left unsold.

This year, Kindred Community is teaming up with Fridge Restock Community SG to rescue surplus produce before it becomes waste.

On 5 September, join us at Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre for a hands-on Food Rescue Mission!
🥕 Rescue surplus fruits & vegetables
📦 Sort & pack rescued produce
🤝 Redistribute food to communities across Singapore

Because a cleaner city isn't just about picking up what has been thrown away — it's also about preventing good food from becoming waste in the first place.

This is our small part for World Cleanup Day 2026, under this year's global theme:
“From Clean Plates to Clean Cities.” 🌏💛🩷💙

🌏 WORLD CLEANUP DAY 2026

Another meaningful morning with our Kindred community!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our cleanup from Bugis to Haji Lane. It was wonderful to see familiar faces alongside new volunteers coming together with one shared purpose — caring for the spaces we all enjoy.

Every conversation, every piece of litter picked up, and every helping hand reminded us that creating a cleaner Singapore starts with simple actions taken together.

We are so grateful to everyone who gave their Saturday morning to make a difference. This is just one of the many activities happening throughout our World Cleanup Day 2026 Month-Long Campaign!

🌏 WORLD CLEANUP DAY 2026 💛🩷💙

We have kicked off our World Cleanup Day 2026 month-long campaign!

Kindred Community teamed up with Stridy for our first community cleanup of the campaign, bringing volunteers together in the Ubi area for a morning of action, connection and care for our shared environment.

We walked, we picked up litter, we got our hands dirty — and most importantly, we showed that small actions can create meaningful change when we do them together. 🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who showed up bright and early on a Saturday morning, and to Stridy for partnering with us to get this year's campaign started! 🤝
But we are only getting started. 👀

Our World Cleanup Day Singapore campaign continues with more community activities across Singapore throughout August and September, leading up to our main cleanup on 19 September at East Coast Park.

🌱 One bag. One street. One community at a time.

👀 Ever noticed the litter hiding in plain sight?

On 6 June, we are heading back to Ubi Ave 1 to clean up a stretch along the industrial park — a place many people walk past every day, but few stop to notice.

From cigarette butts buried in the grass to litter trapped in open drains, these small pieces of waste often go unnoticed, yet can eventually find their way into our waterways.

🌿 Join us in caring for this overlooked space and making a tangible difference to our environment.

At Kindred Community, we believe in:
💭 Clean Thoughts
🙌 Clean Actions
🌎 Clean Environment

Small hands.
Big hearts.
Meaningful impact. 🌱💚

Last weekend, families came together at Kindred Family Day to learn, play, clean, and show kindness together.

From picking up litter and discovering microplastics, to writing appreciation cards for cleaners, every small action became a meaningful teaching moment.

Because caring for our environment starts with caring for the people around us too.

A big thank you to all the families and volunteers who made this day possible. Your energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to serve made the event truly special.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to and for supporting this event and helping us create meaningful learning experiences for children and families.

Together, we are raising a generation that cares — for our environment, our community, and one another. 🌿
