🦁 $230,000 in Six Months to Lions Befrienders — A Powerful Commitment to Our Seniors ❤️

Lions Club of Singapore Bedok proudly shares another meaningful milestone in our service journey. On 17 June 2026, Accredit Pte Ltd donated another $50,000 to Lions Befrienders Service Association (Singapore). 🌟

Accredit Pte Ltd, a trusted and reliable financial institution in Singapore, continues to show its deep care for the well-being of our beloved seniors at Lions Befrienders through its generous and purposeful giving.

With this latest contribution, the total donation to Lions Befrienders in 2026 has now reached $230,000.

🌴🦁 A Coconut-Sweet Afternoon of Joy at Bendemeer! 🧁✨

This afternoon, Lions Club of Singapore Bedok brought another cheerful round of our Weekly Buns & Dessert Distribution to 120 seniors of Lions Befrienders Bendemeer Active Ageing Centre — and the afternoon smiles made the service even more meaningful! 💛😊

Our seniors enjoyed freshly baked Coconut Buns from Bread Era Pte Ltd, filled with simple warmth and familiar comfort. To sweeten the afternoon further, Suitok Pte Ltd treated everyone to a delightful Chocolate Muffin Dessert — soft, lovely and perfect for a happy tea-time treat! 🥥🧁☕

Suitok Pte Ltd also added extra joy with a beautiful variety of pastries and buns, including Matcha Shio Pan, Chocolate Shio Pan, Chocolate Orange Bun, Walnut Cheese Bun, Cinnamon Bun, Almond Chocolate Bun, Bolo Butter Bun, Hokkaido An Pan, and 3-in-1 Mini Pastries. What a wonderful spread of flavours for our beloved seniors! 🥐🍫🍞✨

Since 9 October 2024, we have continued this weekly project with one simple mission — to bring care, cheer and companionship to our seniors through small but meaningful treats. Each bun and dessert carries more than food; it carries our message of love:

🥥 Fresh Coconut Buns, Fresh Smiles & Warm Hearts 🦁❤️

This morning, Lions Club of Singapore Bedok continued our Weekly Buns Distribution for 60 seniors from Lions Befrienders Clementi 420A Active Ageing Centre at the pavilion at Blk 459 Clementi Ave 3. 🌞

After completing their morning exercises, our seniors received a simple but delightful treat — freshly baked Coconut Buns from Bread Era Pte Ltd. Soft, fragrant and lovingly shared, each bun brought a little joy to the morning and a warm smile to many faces. 🥥🍞😊

Our dedicated Lion CK Ho collected the buns from Bread Era at Blk 506 Jurong West St 52 and delivered them personally to Blk 459. As always, he waited patiently for the seniors to finish their exercises before serving them the buns with care and sincerity. 🦁🤝

Since 1 October 2024, we have kept this weekly project going for more than 20 months. Week after week, this project reminds us that meaningful service does not always need to be grand. Sometimes, one freshly baked bun, served at the right moment, can brighten a senior’s day and show them that they are remembered, valued and cared for. ❤️🌼

For us, this project carries a deeper purpose. It encourages our seniors to stay active, come together, enjoy companionship, and feel the warmth of a community that continues to stand beside them. Every distribution strengthens that bond of care — one bun, one smile, one morning at a time. 🌟

🌞 A Simple Breakfast, A Beautiful Morning of Togetherness 🦁❤️

This morning, Lions Club of Singapore Bedok continued our Weekly Breakfast Club for the seniors of Lions Befrienders Clementi 366 Active Ageing Centre at the pavilion beside the AAC.

We welcomed 39 seniors who came down to enjoy a warm and cheerful start to the day. They savoured freshly baked and wonderfully fragrant Coconut Buns from Bread Era Pte Ltd, paired with comforting cups of coffee, tea or Milo. ☕🍵🥥

💛 More Than Just Breakfast

This Breakfast Club serves a simple yet meaningful purpose — we want our seniors to leave their homes, meet familiar faces, make new friends, share conversations, and begin the day with warmth and companionship.

Since 19 February 2025, we have continued this Breakfast Club for almost 16 months, bringing our seniors regular moments of care, friendship and warmth. We believe these simple gatherings can brighten their mornings and lift their spirits in meaningful ways.

A bun and a drink may look simple, but when we serve them with sincerity, they carry a heartfelt message:

Lions Club of Singapore Bedok Weekly Buns & Dessert Distribution

Today, our Lions Club of Singapore Bedok brought another round of warmth, sweetness and care to 185 seniors from Lions Befrienders Clementi Active Ageing Centres at Blk 344 and Blk 420A. 💕

We served 50 seniors at Blk 344 and 135 seniors at Blk 420A, and every treat carried a simple message of love and remembrance. 🌈

Our seniors enjoyed freshly baked, soft and very fragrant Coconut Buns from Bread Era Pte Ltd. The lovely coconut aroma brought a familiar comfort to the afternoon and made the tea break feel extra homely. 🌴🍞✨

To complete the treat, Suitok Pte Ltd refreshed our seniors with a delightful Longan Lychee Jelly Dessert — cool, sweet, smooth and perfect for a cheerful afternoon. 🍮🍑💫

At Blk 420A, Suitok Pte Ltd added even more joy with a generous spread of extra savouries and pastries, including Matcha Shio Pan, Chocolate Shio Pan, Hokkaido An Pan, Almond Chocolate Bun, Cinnamon Roll, Walnut Cheese Bun, Chocolate Orange Bun and 3-in-1 Mini Pastries. 🥐🍫🍵🎉

Since 30 July 2024, we have continued this weekly service project with one clear purpose — to bring comfort, companionship and small moments of happiness to our seniors. For almost two years, this project has reminded us that a simple bun and dessert can brighten an afternoon, warm a heart and tell our seniors that they remain close to us. ❤️

Lions Club of Singapore Bedok Weekly Buns Distribution

This morning, we brought fresh warmth and cheerful energy to 60 seniors from Lions Befrienders Clementi 420A Active Ageing Centre at the hardcourt beside Blk 429 Clementi Ave 3. 🌞💛

Our seniors enjoyed freshly baked Coconut Buns from Bread Era Pte Ltd — soft, fragrant, and full of a familiar, comforting flavour. The sweet coconut aroma added a lovely touch to the morning and brought smiles all around! 🥥🥰

Our ever-dedicated Lion CK Ho collected the buns from Bread Era’s bakery at Blk 506 Jurong West St 52 and delivered them safely to Clementi. He received wonderful support at the distribution from Past President Richard Khoo and Lion Chau Thi Ly. Together, they waited patiently as the seniors completed their morning exercises, then served the buns with care and joy. 🙌🦁

Since 1 October 2024, we have continued this weekly bun distribution for our seniors at Clementi 420A. For more than 20 months, this project has carried one simple message each week — we remember our seniors, we value them, and we will continue to serve as long as they need us. ❤️

Every bun we serve brings more than breakfast. It brings friendship, consistency, warmth and a happy start to the day. 🌈🥯
