On 29 July, SAFEF hosted our Appreciation to Offtakers event at Coriander Leaf at the Singapore Polo Club. Our venue partner curated a buffet reception showcasing the freshness and quality of locally grown produce from Singapore's farms.

We were honoured to have our SAFEF Patron, Acting Minister-in-Charge of Muslim Affairs, Mr Zaqy Mohamad , join us to witness the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) between SAFEF and four new partners — Tong Hai Pte Ltd, Lim Thiam Chwee Food Supplier Pte Ltd, CCL Impex, and .

The event also celebrated the renewal of our longstanding partnerships, commemorating three years of collaboration with AtFresh and Seafood Industries Association Singapore , as well as Coriander Leaf's first anniversary as our valued culinary partner.

Together, we look forward to our collaboration and shared goal to supporting our local farms.

Visit us at RA05 and our partners as they showcase our local produce and demonstrate a variety of processing techniques and culinary applications, highlighting our locally farmed seafood.

SAFEF and farmers participated at Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment re family GoGreen Week 2026!

We sold our pesticide-free Asian leafy greens, GR8 Prosperity Mix (8-type lettuce salad mix), the 6 different varieties of pesticide-free whole head lettuces, perfect for creating your own salad mix or sides, as well as beansprouts! We also sold vacuum sealed and frozen The Straits Fish (Marine Tilapia) & The Straits Bass (Seabass), with accompanying sachet of sauce (w minimum purchase), to maintain freshness as well as in pre-marinated ready-to-cook Assam Straits Fish (Marine Tilapia) for a quick and convenient meal.

A huge call out to the local farm who joined us, Chew's Egg, Spore Gardens (mushrooms), Singaponics High Tech Farm (vegetables & seafood) and The Fish Farmer (seafood) for their support with fresh local produce for the MSE family to enjoy.

SAFEF participated in World Aquaculture Singapore 2026 alongside our industry partners, showcasing innovative technologies and digital solutions that help aquaculture farms improve productivity, efficiency, and sustainability. We were honoured to welcome Dr Janil Puthucheary , Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, who visited our booth and spent time learning more about the advancements being made within Singapore’s aquaculture sector.

One of our participating partners, AquaEasy , showcased its smart shrimp farming solutions, including the iFeeder system. Designed to optimise feeding operations, the iFeeder automatically dispenses shrimp feed based on the animals’ appetite and feeding behaviour, helping farmers improve feed efficiency while reducing waste.

We were also joined by Dex, which demonstrated its suite of digital tools and technologies that support day-to-day farm operations and management. Their SGFarmApp provides farmers and farm operators with an integrated dashboard to track key farm inputs, monitor operational performance, and make data-driven decisions more effectively.

Together, these innovations highlight how technology is shaping the future of aquaculture by enabling farms to operate more efficiently, sustainably, and productively.

World Aquaculture 2026 is just around the corner. Joining us are AquaEasy and Dextech, together with SAFEF will be representing our local aquaculture farms and showcasing Singapore’s aquaculture industry.

SAFEF at Food & Hospitality Asia 2026 at the SG Farmers' Market Pavilion with a showcase of locally grown produce and live local seafood. Visitors got to see the fresh asian leafy greens such as xiao bai cai & cai xin as well as The Straits Fish marine tilapia live in its tank!

Local farms at our SG Farmers' Market Pavillion are Aeroveg, Artisan Green , Green Harvest SG , Yili Farm and, Spore Gardens for showcasing their local produce on display. Visitors were amazed by the wide variety of produce offered by Singapore local farms and were encouraged to discover even more varieties beyond those showcased at the display.

As part of our ongoing outreach to bring local produce straight to the community, making our local produce more accessible, SAFEF has organised mini marts at educational institutes and organisations.

Our recent efforts include the SG Farmers’ Market Minimarket at Gan Eng Seng School Singapore and Enterprise Singapore where SAFEF and participating farmers brought their locally grown produce for the community to enjoy.
