In this present day world, full of conflict, hatred and violent, mankind is facing extinction of real possibilities in the face of global terrorism and nuclear catastrophes. The precious teachings of the Buddha has not ceased to be our guidance and continuously providing us with blessing and comfort. The Buddha’s enlightened mind and intent, which are represented by the Stupa, is none
other than to benefit and liberate all being in this Ocean of Samsara. So therefore, the building and er****on of Stupa, has untold benefits and blessing both temporal and spiritual. This meritorious project is a noble attempt to recreate the feats undertook by King Ashoka of India and Emperor Qian Shu of China who have constructed 84,000 stupas throughout their kingdoms. It is also a project of those who share the same aspiration for world peace and harmony.
108 large Stupas of 3.3 meters will be erected in various spiritually significant locations in China and in Beijing, Lhasa, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore etc. Since this project is funded by proceed from the sponsorship of the 84,000 small Stupas, each of the sponsors will accumulate the merits of constructing all 84,000 small and 108 large Stupas. 缘起
在目前这个充满冲突与风波，仇恨与暴力的世界中，在这个充斥着核武威胁和恐怖主义的时代，我们更需要佛陀充满智慧与慈悲的教法。
诸佛菩萨的心意就是利益一切众生，而佛塔代表诸佛菩萨心意之所依。建造佛塔的成就，对于当代社会乃至未来人类社会和平与幸福，都将有着非常殊胜，不可思议的功德和利益。
此功德项目是为了重践古印度阿育王和古中国吴越王钱俶的圣举，造八万四千座佛塔，这也是为了表达人民对于和平幸福的无限憧憬，我们贡献应有的力量，祈请诸佛菩萨的无上加持。
一百零八座三米三高大宝塔将会在中国佛教圣地以及在北京，拉萨，香港，台湾和新加坡等世界各国筹建。因为承建大宝塔的经费全是由小宝塔的功德主所捐献，所以迎请小宝塔便是聚集了筹建八万四千座小宝塔和一百零八座大宝塔之殊胜功德。
