HCA Hospice did an interview with me recently. This is some information about HCA and the Epic Ride. 🙏
Hope you guys can support an organisation like HCA. They're really the unsung heroes who deal with terminal patients. ❤️
Here's also the link to how you can donate.

A former beneficiary of HCA Hospice Care, Muhammad bin Idris Alkhatib has nothing but kind words, for our Home Hospice team and the service they provided to his mother last year.
Speaking highly of the team, he said, “They were very professional and yet like family. They grew very close to my mum in the short span of time and she was really happy. She went peacefully and her death was as good as it could be.”
Upon learning that HCA’s services are provided complimentary to patients, Muhammad was pleasantly surprised because he was ready to spare no expense, for his mother’s comfort. “Even if I were to pay for a private service, I doubt we could have gotten the same standard, that we received from HCA.”
It was from that moment, that Muhammad decided to include ‘Hospice Care’ as one of the three causes he would support henceforth. When the opportunity to give back and serve other terminally ill patients under HCA Hospice Care arose, Muhammad did not hesitate.
“A friend of mine told me that Clifford, whom I had rode alongside with years ago, was still doing the charity ride. I jumped at the chance, when I knew that HCA was the beneficiary, because they went above and beyond for my mother. That is my motivation for this ride,” quipped Muhammad, who will be riding as a cyclist for the HCA Ride For Life this weekend.
Each cyclist is required to raise a minimum of $500, but Muhammad is aiming for $1000, as a way to acknowledge our Home Hospice team’s spirit of going above and beyond. “I will always back HCA and I want to do more for terminally ill patients. It is not an isolated or one-off effort. I would really like to focus my energy on HCA and give back over a prolonged period,” he added.
Together with Clifford, Lilian and close to 40 cyclists, Muhammad will be riding around Singapore over the next two days, in support of our patients with life-limiting illnesses.
Ride For Life is taking place this weekend, 11-12 December 2021. Stay tuned to our stories for updates on the ride!
