Our Values: Kindness, Sincerity, Gratitude, Service Established in August 2008, this charitable organisation formed by a group of professionals, comprising teachers, entrepreneurs, engineers, IT professionals and a psychologist, hopes to act as a bridge between government and community to benefit people of all levels and backgrounds. The society hopes to create a vibrant organization dedicated to promote cultures and graciousness, by empowering individuals with knowledge and skills to lead and serve. Sincerity, gratitude, service and kindness are some of its values.

Blossom Intergenerational Circle (BIC) is a chance to step beyond your usual circle and connect with people from a different generation.

It’s a youth-led programme where you’ll spend time with seniors through fun activities, conversations, performances and games!

Think of it as a game with no leaderboard — just plenty of new experiences to unlock:

🎯 LEVEL 1: CONNECT
Get to know seniors, share stories and build meaningful connections.

🎨 LEVEL 2: CREATE
Help plan and take part in activities, games and performances for our sessions.

💡 LEVEL 3: GROW
Build your communication, planning and teamwork skills while gaining a deeper understanding of different perspectives through community service.

On 26 September, our youth volunteers came together for our first Senior Befriending session, reaching out to seniors in Sembawang who may be experiencing isolation.

Behind those three hours were many conversations, discussions and preparations — from the Board to Management to our ground team — to understand the needs of seniors and create a meaningful experience for our youth.

Before heading out, our volunteers went through training and role play to prepare for the conversations they might encounter.

Then came the three hours on the ground:

👥 20 staff & youth volunteers
🏠 65 seniors visited across 4 zones
💬 21 seniors spoken to personally
🤝 9 family members/helpers engaged
❤️ 30 meaningful conversations

For our youth, it was a chance to step outside their comfort zones, listen and learn.

For our team, it was many days of work coming together.

The work behind a programme may not always be visible, but every conversation, question and adjustment matters.

A big thank you to everyone who made this possible. 🩵

🏡✨ Is your friend group looking for a new side quest? How about one that actually makes a difference? 👀

Blossom Home Reset (BHReset) brings youth volunteers together to reset residents’ homes, while learning what it really means to help someone. It’s an afternoon of working as a team, getting to know the resident and understanding what kind of support they would like. 🧤🧹

Your side quest will include:
🧹 Sorting, organising and refreshing different areas of the home
✨ Cleaning and tidying to make the space more comfortable
💪 Working together to move and organise household items
🤝 Teaming up with your friends or even people you’ve never met before

BHReset isn’t just about getting things done.

It’s about learning to listen before we help — understanding what someone needs, what they are comfortable with, and how we can support them in a way that truly helps. Because sometimes, what we think is helpful may not be what someone actually needs. 💛

Plus, you get to meet new people, work together, step out of your comfort zone and walk away knowing your time was spent doing something meaningful. ✨

🏡✨ A refreshed home, a renewed sense of comfort.
On 12 September 2026, 34 volunteers came together at Jalan Besar for Blossom Home Refresh (BHR), refreshing 9 homes of seniors and turning an afternoon of helping into meaningful action. 🧹🤝💛

Throughout the session, volunteers worked together to refresh a home and create a cleaner, more comfortable living environment for a member of the community. From sweeping and mopping floors, organising spaces and clearing unwanted items, every task, big or small, contributed to creating a more welcoming home. 🧼✨

The afternoon was filled with hands-on work. Volunteers made trips up and down carrying and clearing bags of rubbish, moved items around the home and worked together to tackle different areas of the space. What started as individual tasks soon became a collective effort, with volunteers stepping in to help wherever they were needed. 💪🏻🧹

Beyond the work itself, BHR also brought together people from different backgrounds who may have never met before. As the afternoon progressed, volunteers communicated, divided tasks, shared responsibilities and supported one another, turning a group of individuals into a team working towards a common purpose. 🤝💛

More than just a home refresh, BHR is about showing care through action — creating more comfortable living environments while bringing people together to contribute to the community. 🌱🏡
