A huge thank you to LexisNexis Risk Solutions LexisNexis Risk Solutions for donating 10 laptops to Transbefrienders Singapore!

These laptops will go directly into the hands of our beneficiaries, while also supporting us as we grow our clinic operations and create more ways to support our community.

Every bit of support helps us build a more accessible, affirming and connected future for trans people in Singapore. 🫶

Meet the people helping to shape the next chapter of Transbefrienders. 🖋️

We’re excited to welcome Zhan as our new Board Director and Aderyn as our new Case Manager.

While they each bring different expertise, experience and perspectives, they share the same commitment to building a Singapore where Transgender and Gender Diverse individuals can find support, affirmation and belonging in their journey. 🚶🏾‍♂️

From strengthening our organisation behind the scenes to being the first touch point and walking alongside community members through holistic approach, we’re grateful to have them with us on this journey as Transbefrienders continues to evolve! 🪄

Navigating healthcare as trans individuals can be daunting. Whether it's your first time testing or part of your regular routine, self-testing puts you in control and offers a proper way to take care of you and your partners.

Calling for Interview Participants!

In recent years, transgender and non-binary individuals have used various social platforms to seek out information about transgender and non-binary identity, self-discovery, and to find communities or support groups of individuals of similar identity. However, in these social platforms, transgender and non-binary youth still face various forms of discrimination and violence on the basis of gender, such as cyberbullying, harassment and doxxing. This study aims to document and understand the online gender-based violence transgender and non-binary youth from Singapore, Taiwan and HK experience, and how this type of violence affects their use of social media platforms.

- What to expect: A 60-90 minute semi-structured interview (online or in-person) about social media use
- Criteria: Singaporean or PR, 18-30 years old, identify as transgender or nonbinary
- Incentive of 50 SGD is provided
