🌏 Strengthening Regional Ties: Macau Delegation Visits AFECA

On 15 April 2026, AFECA had the pleasure of hosting the Macau Fair Trade & Association Delegation at our Secretariat Office in Singapore.

This meaningful engagement brought together industry leaders and stakeholders from across the region, creating a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and partnership building within Asia’s MICE community.

The session featured:

✨ Updates on the latest support policies for Macao’s MICE

✨ Networking opportunities among members and delegates

AFECA President in China

Dato Vincent Lim, President of Asian Federation of Exhibition and Convention Associations, was recently in China, engaging with key industry stakeholders to strengthen regional collaboration and advance the MICE ecosystem.

In Xiamen, he met with the Xiamen Convention and Exhibition Association (XMCEA) to discuss preparations for the upcoming AFECA Convention 2026.

He also delivered a speech at the Wuxi Convention & Exhibition Destination Development Conference 2026 in Wuxi, where he highlighted the industry’s shift towards high-quality, professional, and internationalised development. During the event, he represented AFECA in a strategic MOU signing with key MICE stakeholders, reinforcing regional cooperation.
