West Coast Gardens RN

West Coast Gardens RN West Coast Gardens Residents' Network is a volunteers group that hopes to bring the Kampong Spirit back to the West Coast Gardens estate in Singapore.

As a fully volunteers-run community committee under the People's Association in Singapore, West Coast Gardens Residents' Network (WCGRN) was officially established on 1 July 2011. WCGRN primarily serves residents in the private estate of West Coast Gardens, which covers West Coast Avenue, West Coast Drive, West Coast Grove, West Coast Park, West Coast Place, West Coast Rise, West Coast Road, West

Coast Terrace and West Coast Way. The estate features 8 condominiums today, namely Monterey Park, NEWest, Carabelle, Botannia, The Infiniti, Hundred Trees and Parc Riviera. Soon, Whistler Grand will also be a part of the West Coast Gardens estate. WCGRN creates opportunities for residents to connect with like-minded people by organising various community events and interest groups including:
- Culinary Interest Group
- Gardening Interest Group
- Wine Interest Group
- Balloon Sculpting Interest Group
- Cycling Interest Group
- Fun Walking Interest Group
- Yuan Ji Wu Interest Group
- Badminton Interest Group
- Table Tennis Interest Group

Thrice weekly, volunteers from the Citizens-on-Patrol go around the estate on foot or bicycles at night to promote safety in the neighbourhood. To volunteer, call 6779 1098 to indicate your interest.

We are heartened to see so many families come together for the Family Tree planting at West Coast Place neighbourhood park 🌱

The West Coast Gardens Residents’ Network is proud to be part of the community supporting this meaningful initiative. It is wonderful to see parents planting trees for their children — creating lasting memories while contributing to a greener, more sustainable environment for future generations.

Thank you Minister for joining us and for your continued support towards building a City in Nature. We also extend our appreciation to NParks, PA colleagues, and our West Coast volunteers for making this event possible.

Together, we grow a stronger and greener West Coast 💚

That sounds like a truly revitalizing way to spend a Sunday morning! There is something special about combining a scenic nature walk with the energy of a local community.

Mandai Wildlife Reserve offers such a beautiful backdrop for a group outing, and it is great to hear that the West Coast Gardens Residents' Network had such a strong turnout with 40 residents. Ending the two-hour trek with brunch at the nearby F&B spots is the perfect reward for all that movement.

It is wonderful to see interest groups like the Fun Walkers bringing neighbours together to enjoy the outdoors. Hopefully, the next walk is just as scenic and well-attended! 🌿☕

And that’s a wrap! 🧧✨ Our 10-location Chinese New Year tour reached its final destination at Twin VEW, bringing our Year of the Horse celebrations to a spectacular close for the West Coast Gardens estate.

The energy was electric for our final Lo Hei! 🍊 There’s nothing quite like the sound of "Huat Ah!" filling the air as neighbors toss to a year of health and happiness. We were especially privileged to have Minister Desmond Lee and Ayer Rajah Advisor Ms. Cassandra Lee join our Twin VEW residents for this grand finale prosperity toss. A huge thank you to them for spending time with us and making the celebration so memorable!

Although the CNY celebrations have come to an end, the fun doesn't stop here! The West Coast Gardens Residents' Network is already hard at work planning more exciting events and community activities for everyone to enjoy.

Don't miss out—make sure to follow us on our various social media platforms to stay updated on all our upcoming programs. Thank you, West Coast, for a "Huat" and happy New Year! 🐎✨

Our 10-location Chinese New Year celebration circuit is nearing its grand finale, and we were delighted to gather with residents at Parc Riviera for our ninth (second-last) stop. The festive energy was truly palpable as neighbors came together to celebrate the season of renewal and strengthen our community bonds.

The undeniable highlight of the event was the traditional Lo Hei (Prosperity Toss). The air was filled with auspicious cheers as residents joined in unison to toss the Yu Sheng high, symbolizing our collective hopes for abundance and harmony in the year ahead. We were deeply honoured to have Minister Desmond Lee and Ayer Rajah Advisor Ms. Cassandra Lee join the Parc Riviera community for this festive ritual. Their participation added a special warmth to the occasion as they engaged with residents and shared in the joyous atmosphere.

With just one final stop remaining in our 10-location journey, the vibrant celebrations at Parc Riviera have set a wonderful stage for our concluding event!

Our 10-location Chinese New Year celebration circuit reached its eighth stop at Whistler Grand, continuing a wonderful journey of festive cheer across the estate. The event brought residents together for a joyous afternoon, further strengthening the neighbourly bonds that make our West Coast community so vibrant.

Following the successful gatherings at Hundred Trees, NEWest, Carabelle, The Infiniti, Botannia, and Monterey Park, the celebration at Whistler Grand was another testament to our shared community spirit. We were deeply honoured to have Minister Desmond Lee and Ayer Rajah Advisor Ms. Cassandra Lee join us once again. Their presence added a special significance to the occasion as they engaged with the residents of Whistler Grand, sharing in the festive atmosphere and celebrating the spirit of togetherness that defines our neighbourhood.

As we move into the final stretch of our 10-location tour, the energy at each stop continues to inspire. We look forward to bringing this festive joy to the remaining two locations in our circuit!
