Ren Yi Care Group Mooncake Event 2026

Today, Ren Yi Care Group had the pleasure of spending a meaningful and enjoyable Mid-Autumn celebration with the seniors at PEACE-Connect @ 8, Blk 8 North Bridge Road.
Our volunteers reported early in the morning to prepare and set up the venue before the arrival of the seniors. Before the event officially started, a Snow Skin Mooncake demonstration was conducted for our volunteers, taking them through the steps of preparing, wrapping and moulding the mooncakes so that they could confidently guide and assist the seniors during the workshop.
At about 10:15am, our Snow Skin Mooncake Workshop officially began. With the guidance and assistance of our volunteers, the seniors had the opportunity to make their own colourful snow skin mooncakes — from working with the snow skin and fillings to pressing their creations into the mooncake moulds.
It was wonderful to see everyone learning together, helping one another and proudly showing off their finished mooncakes during our Mooncake Showcase & Photo Session.
After the workshop, we continued the celebration with a singing session. Familiar songs brought everyone together, with our volunteers and seniors singing along and enjoying the cheerful atmosphere.
We also prepared Chicken Briyani for the seniors to enjoy, bringing our morning programme to a warm and satisfying close. After the event had concluded and our seniors had left, we had one more little celebration among ourselves — a birthday celebration for our volunteers born in September.
With a birthday cake, birthday song and good wishes from everyone, it was a lovely way to end the day and celebrate our September birthday volunteers together.
More than just making mooncakes, today's event was about companionship, participation and creating happy memories together. From making mooncakes and singing familiar songs to enjoying a delicious meal, it was a morning filled with simple moments of happiness and togetherness.
A big thank you also goes to all our Ren Yi volunteers who contributed their time and effort — from the advance preparation and packing, setting up and decorating the venue, learning the mooncake-making process, guiding the seniors during the workshop, assisting with the activities and lunch, right through to the final clean-up. Every helping hand contributed to making today's event possible.

仁义义工团中秋月饼活动 2026
今天，仁义义工组很开心与 PEACE-Connect @ 8，Blk 8 North Bridge Road 的长者们一起度过了一个温馨愉快的中秋庆祝活动。
一早，义工们便陆续报到，为活动进行场地布置及各项准备工作。在活动正式开始前，我们也特别为义工们进行了 冰皮月饼制作示范，从冰皮、馅料的处理，到包馅及压模成型，一步一步讲解，让大家熟悉制作过程，以便在工作坊进行时能够更好地从旁协助及指导长者。
上午10:15，期待已久的 冰皮月饼制作工作坊 正式开始。在义工们的陪伴和协助下，长者们亲手制作属于自己的彩色冰皮月饼。从冰皮、包入馅料，到最后放入模具压出漂亮的月饼，每一个步骤大家都认真参与，现场充满了互动与欢乐。
完成后，大家也开心地展示自己的月饼，并一起拍照留下这份特别的中秋回忆。
月饼制作结束后，我们以轻松愉快的 歌唱环节 延续欢乐的气氛。熟悉的旋律响起，长者与义工们一起唱歌、互动，在歌声与笑声中享受相聚的时光。
我们也为长者们准备了美味的 鸡肉印度香饭（Chicken Briyani），让大家在活动之余享用美食，为今天上午的活动画上温馨的句点。
活动圆满结束、长者们离开后，我们的义工们还有一个小小的庆祝环节——一起为 九月份生日的义工们庆祝生日。大家一起唱生日歌、切蛋糕，并为九月寿星们送上满满的祝福。忙碌了一个上午后，能够与义工伙伴们一起庆祝、分享这份喜悦，也为今天的活动增添了一个温馨又欢乐的结尾。
今天的活动，不仅仅是一起制作月饼，更重要的是 陪伴、参与，以及一起创造美好的回忆。从亲手制作月饼、唱着熟悉的歌曲，到享用美味的食物，一个个简单的时刻，汇聚成了一份属于大家的温暖与快乐。
同时，也要感谢每一位参与的 仁义义工。从活动前的筹备、材料准备与分装，到当天的场地布置、学习月饼制作、陪伴及指导长者、协助活动与午餐安排，再到最后的收拾整理，每一份付出、每一双帮忙的手，都是今天活动能够顺利完成的重要一环。
我们也衷心感谢所有为这次活动慷慨赞助与捐助的朋友们。谢谢大家一直以来的支持与爱心。 因为有你们的帮助与付出，我们才能顺利举办这次活动，并把这份欢乐与温暖带给长者们。
