Our National Day Observance Ceremony and Carnival brought residents, families, friends and neighbours together to celebrate our nation and the community we are proud to call home.

Our theme this year, โ€œBuilding Our Keat Hong Together,โ€ truly captured the spirit of the celebration. It was heartwarming to see everyone coming together, sharing smiles and laughter, connecting with one another and creating meaningful memories along the way. โค๏ธ

Every year, our neighbourhood is adorned with flags and decorations in celebration of Singapore's National Day. What we don't always see are the friendships and helping hands behind every decoration.

This year, one of those stories belongs to Mr Tun Min Win. Having recently become a Singapore citizen, this year's National Day will be his first as a Singaporean. โค๏ธ

Wanting to do his part, he gathered a group of friends, many of whom are fellow grassroots volunteers, to spend the day putting up National Day decorations around Keat Hong Zone 2. As it turned out, the day they came together was also Mr Tun's birthday. ๐ŸŽ‚

Friends giving their time, working side by side, and sharing a common purpose to make the neighbourhood a little more festive for everyone. It is these quiet acts of service that continue to bring neighbours together and make Keat Hong a place we call home.

Thank you, Mr Tun and all our volunteers for making a difference.
