Humanitas at Telok Blangah

Humanitas at Telok Blangah Humanitas : Latin for human nature, civilization and kindness Humanitas is the name we are adopting for our bimonthly Food Distribution. Any amount is welcome.

The period which we are doing this is as advised by the grassroots, who helped to vet and verify the needy. Typically, each distribution will be take place on the last Sunday of the stated month. We appreciate all who had supported and continue to support us with your donations and time since July 2016. This act of kindness cannot be achieved with your participation. One average each bag of food items given to the needy will costs S$20. There are about 100 recipients per distribution session. Donors may choose to sponsor a certain number of bags or any amount of your choosing. Similarly, if you are interested in helping during the session, do drop us a message too! Together, we are Humanitas.

Rain or Shine....

The rain was heavy on Sunday, 27 Sept, but it did not deter us from providing some warmth with our Food Distribution.

Thank you to our sponsors, donors and volunteers who make it possible! ♥️

Sometimes, we think giving is simply about what we can afford to give.

But when you take part, whether by donating, packing food, or simply showing up, you begin to see that it is about so much more.

It is about people, dignity, kindness and community.

Our next Telok Blangah Humanitas food distribution will be on 27 September 2026, supporting seniors and families in our neighbourhood.

If you would like to be part of this, we are open to donations. Every contribution, big or small, helps us put food on another table and bring a little encouragement to someone who needs it.

If you would like to contribute, DM us.

Thank you for being part of the community.

in a world which is in turmoil and uncertain currently, we need kindness more than ever before.
We may not be able to help thousands and millions, but let's do what we can for each other 1 at a time here.

This is what we can do with what we have.

Looking for your generosity for our upcoming Food Distribution for 100 beneficiaries on 26 July.

Each bag of food items cost $22.

We’ll be doing our next Telok Blangah Humanitas food distribution on 29 March 2026.

Each month, we put together food packs for seniors and families in our neighbourhood who could use a little extra support.
It’s a simple effort, but it means a lot to the people receiving them.

If you like to help, you can contribute groceries, donate towards the purchase of essentials, or simply help share this post so more people know.

Every small contribution adds up.
Each bag is $20.

If you’d like to support this round, DM us. Thank you for helping us care for our community. ❤️
