Behind every programme at Glyph Community is a foundation built around 8 core pillars, shaping how we support kids to learn, grow and discover their potential.

🏸 Badminton, but make it weekly!

We’re excited to share that our kids now have weekly badminton sessions! The kids will be spending their Sunday mornings on court, learning new skills, building confidence and, of course, having plenty of fun along the way! ✨

Off the court, each session will be followed by social-emotional learning, helping the kids reflect on what they’ve learnt and how they can apply it beyond the game. 🤝 This way, they get the full-circle experience of learning, playing and growing together!

Here’s to more rallies, more learning and more Sunday mornings on court! 💪🏸

🎶 Exploring the arts, one note at a time.

Our kids got to explore the world of music by trying out different instruments, from the ukulele to the piano! 🎹🎸

They had the chance to experiment with different sounds, try something new and discover how music can be a fun way to express themselves. ✨

Through experiences like these, we give our kids more opportunities to explore the arts, discover new interests and experience things they may not have encountered before. 💛

We challenged our kids to a little Photography Amazing Race 🏃‍♀️📱, where they had to get creative and capture photos based on different keywords. From finding the right subject 👀 to thinking about how to frame their shots, it was all about seeing the world through a different lens! 🔍

Financial literacy starts with everyday life! 💳✨

This session, we learned about digital money and cashless payments, exploring how they work and what to look out for before making a payment. Through a fun role-play activity, the kids got to practise making their own cashless payments while learning the importance of checking the details before tapping “pay”!

Small lessons like these help build the confidence and skills kids need to make smart choices with money as they grow. 💡

Through simple activities and conversations, the kids explored what kindness means and how we can show it to the people around us. From thinking about the people in our lives to recognising the everyday efforts of community helpers, we learnt that kindness can be as simple as saying thank you, showing respect and appreciating others. 🥰🤝🌟

Are you ready, recruits? 🫡

With the help of our friends from , the kids got a glimpse into what it’s like to serve the nation. 🇸🇬 From learning about camouflage 🎨 to testing their grit through hands-on challenges 💪, they had plenty of opportunities to learn, explore and work together! 🪖

Introducing Class Bites 📚✨ where we give you a little peek into what we’ve been learning in class. In this series, we’ll spotlight a topic from our weekend lessons and share how we break it down into simple, fun ideas that kids can understand and enjoy.

First up: Super Cells! 🦠🦸 We explored what actually causes tummy aches and the flu, and how our body’s immune system jumps into action to fight off germs and keep us safe! 🛡️💪
