Our Boon Lay Seniors visited to Wellness Centre for free haircuts provided by our volunteers. It's a wonderful opportunity for seniors to receive a fresh look while engaging in pleasant conversation. We believe these events can truly brighten spirits and create meaningful connections. It was a pleasure to see them leave with smiles.

On 18 April 2026, we hosted a volunteer training workshop, which was led by NUHS.

This training is designed to equip volunteers with the following skills:
- To engage in meaningful interactions with senior members of our community.
- To provide consistent check-ins and emotional assistance.
- To foster meaningful and lasting connections

AIC also provided additional information regarding HealthierSG, including details on enrollment and its benefits.

SGO shared insights into the available grants and resources intended to support seniors.

Through strong collaboration and shared commitment, we can strengthen our support network and ensure that no senior in our community feels alone.

We’re always happy to see our Boon Lay seniors at every session. It means a lot to us to offer them a free haircut but even more special are the moments they get to chit chat and share a few laughs together with the stylists. Each visit feels like reconnecting with old friends, and it truly brightens our day. Seeing them come out, stay active, and be part of the community reminds us why these moments matter so much. Thank you to the stylist for volunteering. 🫶🙏😊
