A Very Special Walk (AVSW) A Very Special Walk (AVSW) is the signature fundraising event of Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) or ARC(S).

Since 2005, it has taken on various forms of activities, ranging from walk, walk + run, concerts, carnivals and even movie treats! This year marks our third virtual campaign, with the theme “A Very Special Journey”. As ARC(S) journeys with individuals on the autism spectrum through adulthood, we continue to build services to meet their growing needs. These include employment, lifelong learning, tr

aining for independent living and residential housing options. Funds raised will go towards supporting programmes and services that ARC(S) offers to empower individuals on the autism spectrum to lead meaningful and independent lives.

Some voices carry hope. Others carry love. ❤️

For this week's feature, we're spotlighting Geogruffalo, a returning AVSW participant since 2021. Inspired by his journey as a parent of a daughter on the autism spectrum, he continues to champion the autism community through our annual fundraising campaign.

His heartfelt rendition of Terry Lin's 《离人》 reflects the hopes, worries and unconditional love that many parents of children on the spectrum carry, while reminding us why it is so important to build a more inclusive future together.

What an unforgettable evening! 🎶

Thank you to everyone who joined us at 𝗔 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁 last Saturday and made the event such a meaningful celebration of music, inclusion and community.

A Very Special Voice is more than a concert or online challenge. It's about creating opportunities for individuals on the autism spectrum to thrive.
